Next up was Ryusen Yaezakura Junmai Ginjo Aki-agari.
Comment from the brewer
-----
This year marks the ninth time the Ryusendo Cellar Project has been held.
The Junmai Ginjo-shu Autumn Agari was safely taken out of Ryuusendo on September 7, and after one summer, it has matured mellowly and has a clear, transparent taste.
To purchase, please visit our website (cash on delivery only) or contact your local sake store.

So, take a sip.
The finish is soft and sweet, typical of Iwate sake.
It is a brand of sake that has been slowly matured at a low natural temperature in the famous limestone caves of Iwaizumi Town called Ryusendo.
It was delicious! (^○^)

Good evening! (^^)/
It was another hot day today.
Iwate prefecture has a tornado warning and it looks like it could be bad in some places. (@_@)
Yesterday, I attended a celebration party.
I brought a bottle of Ryusen Yaezakura Junmai Daiginjo.
Actually, it was the first time for me to drink this brand, so I asked President Yaegashi Yoshikichiro to confirm the taste before serving it to everyone.
It is a light and delicious taste. It has a soft sweetness and umami flavor that spreads in the mouth and is especially good with sashimi and vinegared dishes.
Everyone was pleased with the sake, as it is a local sake that they don't often have a chance to drink.
So, an explanation for the fourth photo.
When I returned home and was about to take a bath, my wife was searching Netflix and suddenly started laughing.
I asked her, "What? She pointed at me and said, "This is stupid, but it makes me laugh.
Hell's Garden."
The story is about a conflict between factions of office workers at a company and a girl who gets caught up in it.
The office workers of the faction are dressed as "yankee" and they are in a battle with each other!
No, no, no, that's a wacky setup~ (laughs).
(Laughs) The company would have fired her in a single shot.
It's too silly a development, but you can't help but laugh until the end.
And the four guys on the left are already out. (^_^;)
Posting No. 316
The pink label and the name Yaezakura gave me an image of a soft sake, but when I drank it, my first impression was that it was a strong sake, with a robust flavor. It also has a sweetness in the front and a good amount of fruit aroma.
Pairing with food
Leatherfish with liver
Wok-fried pork and egg
Chicken with Sautéed Chicken and Tomato Sauce
Personal Favorite ★★★★+☆☆☆☆
Good morning! (^^)/
Last night, I attended a general meeting and reception of an industry organization.
I asked the secretariat to provide me with a bottle of "Ryusen Yaezakura Junmai Daiginjyo Yuzunokou," which won the first prize at the Iwate Prefecture New Sake Competition in 2023.
The sake won first place over Nanbu Bijin and Akabu, two of Iwate Prefecture's twin peaks at the time.

Now, let's pour it into a glass! Pour it into a glass.
Oh, it has a beautiful ginjo aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, it tastes smooth and soft.
The sweetness expands in the mouth.
It is well-balanced and goes well with sashimi and wild vegetables!
Everyone praised its fruity and delicious taste! Everyone praised it as "fruity and delicious! (^○^)
This time, we were also pleased to see the attendance of a government official, who was most guarded about attending the reception due to the Corona, and was very happy to see him drinking.
The morning after drinking delicious alcohol, I woke up feeling refreshed.
I am drunk today, too. Have a good day. (^^)/
Good morning, Mr. Kumagai. ☀️
Is it Iwate Prefecture's #1 sake 😳‼️ delicious and everyone will be pleased 👍It's still good that we can all meet face to face 😊.
Good morning, Pon-chan! (^o^)
It was quite a delicious sake.
The elegant and beautiful-looking sake is appreciated by many people.
It is also a blessing to be able to drink it with a large number of people.
Now if we could only bring in a variety of brands... w
Good evening, Mr. Kumagai 🌙
That's a cool name for a sake 😊.
Your review made me want to drink it 😋.
Corona is now a Class 5, and the large group drinking is coming back.
I'm glad to hear it ‼️
Good evening, Maru-san! (-‿-)
This is an award won by a toji who moved from Mutsu Hachisen in his third year.
It seems to be limited to the internet.
I'm so glad that it's common to be able to enjoy it with so many people!
I used to drink it chilled, but when it gets lukewarm, it has more depth, but I can also taste some miscellaneous flavors.
It is better to drink it chilled in a wine cooler.
Good evening! (^○^)
Today was cloudy according to the weather forecast, but it was cold in the northern coastal area of Iwate Prefecture with light rain all day and a high temperature of 13 degrees Celsius.
The day before yesterday, the high was 30 degrees Celsius, so it feels like we are back to winter from midsummer. (@_@)
It is typical of the Tohoku region... (^_^; )
Most of the houses have probably already put away the stove, but I think it is usually left as it is in the three Tohoku prefectures and Hokkaido.
Well, yesterday I attended a welcome party for a public organization in a neighboring town.
It had been put off for a while due to the Wuhan pneumonia, but since it was the first time in 4 years, everyone was in high spirits (lol).
And I offered a new junmai ginjo from Izumikin Shuzo, which I found at Gin no Sake Kibune.
There is a rumor that I brought it because I wanted to drink it myself.
I asked Mr. Yoshikichiro Yaegashi, the president of Izumikin Shuzo, about it, and he said that he had indeed drunk it, so I took a sip while pouring it for everyone.
Oh, it has a firm sweetness and deliciousness.
The other day's was light. The other day's was light, but this time it was firm.
It was also gorgeous, and everyone said, "Oh! and they drank it with happy expressions on their faces.
I was happy to recommend it to them.
It was delicious!
Good morning, Tomoyuki Kumagai 😃.
13 degrees is cold 🥶.
Looks like you are progressing well to the after-corona 😊.
My office is too busy for a welcome party though 💦.
Hi, Chichi! (≧▽≦)
As expected, I wore thick long sleeves for underwear (lol).
It's been a while since some of us had a drink, and we had a lot of fun and excitement.
Chichi-san's workplace seems to be a tough one 😅.
Hello, Mr. Sake-run! (≧▽≦)
Yes, what makes me happy is that I brought sake that I thought was delicious! What makes me more blissful is the fact that the sake I brought is returned with a smile😃.
President Yaegashi also thanked me. w
<A mellow sweetness and bitterness slowly builds up.
The aroma is gently sweet and bitter, with banana, marshmallow, green grass, and alcohol. It is complex, but has a mysterious freshness, and looks delicious.
The mouthfeel is gently sweet, bitter, and delicious. From there, the sweet and bitter slowly builds up. In the latter half, the rich flavor spreads out with a focus on sweet and bitter. The overtone aroma is also complex and good. Delicious!
It is gentle when it is cold (5℃), but as the temperature rises, it becomes more pronounced. There is a bitter aftertaste, but it is also a good accent.
It is good to drink this type of sake at room temperature from the beginning, but it is also fun to sip a long sip of snow-cold sake and let the flavor warm up in your mouth.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, I would compare it to Princess Kaguyahime, the main character in "The Tale of Princess Kaguyahime. Especially in the latter half of the story, she is Princess Kaguya. It is beautiful and has a sweet and bitter taste.
Degree of liking: ★★★★
