It's amazing that this sake brewery in Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture has been around since 1650 (Edo Period) 🤩👏!
The sake rice is Miyamanishiki. The aroma is mild and grain-like. The first sip has a pleasant acidity and a hint of white sugar, followed by a grapefruit-like bitterness in the second half and a crisp finish. You will not get tired of drinking it, and you will easily drink more 😋😋😋😋.
Brings back memories of eating grapefruit with sugar when I was little 😊.
Atmosphere with less undulation than usual, eliminating the cloying aftertaste.

This Kuroemon XVI is a "nama-hashiroshi" (a traditional sake made from a traditional yeast yeast yeast). My lack of knowledge and assumptions, coupled with the fact that the name "sake yeast yeast yeast yeast" tends to be translated as lactic acidity, is close to that, but this one tastes more citrusy and has a strong acidity 🍊.
The citrus comes right away, so it's refreshing, but it also has the body that is typical of Kuroemon.
Hmmm, now that I think about it, it was delicious 😋.
