This is the first time I've seen this warehouse. The rice used is Maikaze. As the name suggests, everything, including the yeast, is from Gunma, and it seems to be an annual event. The mouthfeel is mild. It is bitter-sweet with a slight banana aroma. It gently finishes with a hint of umami. It seems to have a lot of depth. Well-balanced and cohesive sake. I️ would like to visit Funao Falls too!

After a few drinks, it was quite late, so I headed home while eating a golden dharma bento commemorating the 140th anniversary of Takasaki Station. I will close my Gunma trip with "Akagisan" and "Funao Taki"! Sweet and sugary aroma like sugar. The taste is smooth and silky, and while it has a Gunma sake-like quality, it tastes more like a sweet sake derived from brewer's alcohol. There is nothing outstanding about it, but it is a perfect match for ekiben (boxed lunches), with its unobtrusiveness, slight sweetness, and crispness!

All Gunma, Maifu Drinking Set. I drank Funaotaki when I was in Gunma for a while, but I'm not sure what kind of sake I drank. This is also a special junmai made with Gunma G2 yeast. It has a pale yama-buki color with a faint banana aroma. It is gentle and clean on the palate, and after showing a gorgeous expression, it finishes with a delicious taste. It is the lightest and easiest to drink, but has a strong umami in the back. The good points of the special junmai come out and it is beautifully put together.

Funaotaki We are lonely Special Junmai Namaishu Limited Brew 55% 16 degrees 720ml about 1,500yen I bought it at a liquor store in Gunma. The owner, who looks like Masahiro Ehara, told me that it was a liquor store limited label. I've drunk Funaotaki's nama-shu before, but I don't know what it is like this time. The first sip of the bottle. Yes, this is the unique sweetness of Funaotaki. The mellow sweetness lasts for a long time. It is thick like Kikusui's Funaguchi. For a Funaotaki, it seems to be a bit trendy. I drank it for a few days, and the result is that I like it best among the Funaotaki I drank so far. I don't remember the name of the liquor store, but I would like to buy it again. I would like to know the meaning of the name "We are lonely". It has the best fruity and mellow taste of any sake I have ever had. It has no miscellaneous flavors and has a deep richness. It's like a limited edition!

I bought it after hearing the story behind this sake from the owner of the liquor store where I bought it (^^) lol Apparently, it's a "limited edition" sake that they don't sell anymore... (Limited ...... has a nice ring to it)
