Hana-Shume," a sake from a revived brewery in Saiki City, Oita Prefecture, which was featured on Tokoro-san's "Laughing at You" last fall. We were lucky enough to get an assortment set (❓trial set) of 3 sake for souvenirs, so we compared them! Here is the next one! Hanashoumi Special Junmai (orange label) The aroma is also slightly citrus 🍊. On the palate, the four tastes of sweetness, umami, bitterness and acidity are beautifully balanced. This can be served as a food sake 👍.

This sake was introduced in last year's dancyu. I bought it when I found out there was a special distributor in Nagasaki 😁. I heard that Daichi Sake Brewery is written "Daichi" and reads "Oochi". I always thought it was "Daichi", sorry 🙇. Opened the bottle immediately. The aroma is mild. When you put it in your mouth, it is surprisingly light. The beautiful acidity spreads and it is surprisingly dry. After that, the umami and sweetness of the rice gradually come through. The final taste is refreshing while leaving a lingering aftertaste. I see...it's delicious. Regret that I should have used a #4 bottle instead of 300ml 😂. I'd love to try the other specs! I bet it's gorgeous like a flower 😊. Thanks for the treat ✨ The label is dahlia. Language of flowers is "gratitude" and "gorgeous"

The spoils of my December trip to Beppu. The first brand I drank at a tavern in Kannawa. Purchased at a liquor store near Beppu station. This Junmai is labeled with a haze flower (the flower changes for each sake). (the flower changes for each sake type). Delicate, bitter, and slightly floral. It is delicious at room temperature. A sake to be drunk slowly and carefully. Oita's sake is not so simple, but it is really good. Hana-Soami was introduced on TV by George Tokoro and it is very popular. I am glad that this kind of sake, which does not lean too much toward modernity I am glad that this kind of sake, which is not too modern, is known by everyone.

I've been taking Pilcle Miracle Care. I don't know if the quality of my sleep has improved🤣 I don't know because I take my meds and go to bed. Today is the first time in a long time 😁. Soft, ployonk, gentle sake. When I opened my mouth, there was a slight bitterness, but it disappeared soon after. The taste is like a spring sunset, with no corners. It goes better with chicken than sashimi. 3.9/5.0

The owner told me that Tokoro-san raved about it on TV, so I bought it. The alcohol taste comes at first, but it is beautiful and has a moderate bitterness. It tastes great after a long drink!

The aroma is not that spectacular, I guess. The moment you put it in your mouth, a gorgeous aroma spreads. However, it leaves a strong and dignified impression on the tongue, like a wild flower, rather than a gorgeous and pretty flower. The alcohol feeling disappears quickly, leaving a very refreshing aftertaste. Delicious. 4 stars

Then, Oita's Hana Smile. This is the one that was featured on TV and is no longer in stores. This one is also low milled, but has no cloying taste 😳. I can feel more umami than sweetness 🥰. I felt that this one would be delicious heated up too.

George Tokoro raved about it on "Laugh and Correct" and orders poured in. The online store was also suspended because production could not keep up. It has a beautiful transparency like water. It feels like it goes in without resistance. The slight, gentle sweetness. There may be a gap between the taste and the image from the label. The Dolce I drank before was gorgeous and sweet. It has a strong sense of THE sake.

Tonight we will have a drink at an izakaya in Kannawa. The izakaya offers a wide selection of local sake, with sake from about 10 breweries in the prefecture starting at 800 yen per glass, and a three-sake drink comparison for 1,200 yen, where you can choose from sweet, dry, or clear sake. The photo shows the three types of sake. Hanashimi is a brand I had never tried before. It has a beautiful flavor, followed by a hint of umami. It would be delicious at room temperature or heated. I asked the waitress if they served heated sake, but to my disappointment, she said only cold sake. The waiter told us that they only serve cold sake, and that the Hanashoumi was recently introduced on TV and is very popular and hard to find. I wish I could buy some as a souvenir. But I can only buy two four-pack bottles because of my luggage. What should I buy? In any case, chicken tempura and ryukyu are definitely the way to go!
