Working in a high-rise building today. A different building from yesterday. Nice weather and beautiful Tokyo Tower 🗼.
I went home from Tokyo. I went to an interesting restaurant in Ikebukuro.
Kaku-uchi style?
There were Matsuo and Togakushi, so I compared them.
Matsuo is hi-iru and Togakushi is draft, so I started with Matsuo.
Matsuo has a nice sweetness and umami of rice, while Togakushi has a refreshing sourness. The slight sourness gives it a refreshing taste. It is best on a steaming night. It could also go well as a food sake.
It was delicious!
Sake rice "Yamae-Nishiki" 100%, recommended to drink all-around, I think I like it at room temperature.
It is dry with a low sweetness and full-bodied.
I had it with Japanese food.

Refreshing acidity and fresh fruitiness.
It has a spicy taste and a good sharpness, making it a good mid-meal sake.
100% Yamae-Nishiki produced at the foot of Mt. Polishing ratio 58%, alcohol 15.5%. The full flavor of Yamae-Nishiki can be felt. It has a fruity taste and goes down smoothly and easily. It is delicious. It seems to go well with both fish and meat dishes. It has been a long time since I have tasted Matsuo, but this one is so good that I want to repeat it.

On the way home from our annual hot spring & ski trip, we had some time to spare before the Shinkansen departed, so we visited a sake store near the station 😃.
Local sakes available were Hokko Masamune, Mizuo, and Ayu Masamune, but the one that caught my eye was the new MADARAO, a junmai ginjo nama sake made with Yamae Nishiki 😋.
This is also the annual opening of Izakaya Shinkansen 🤗.
When opened, it has a faintly fruity aroma, and on the palate, there is a light carbonation characteristic of the raw, which is a pleasant stimulus to the tongue, and I think it is a crisp, slightly dry sake 🥰.

Good evening, Mashira no Yama 😃.
I'm looking forward to the izakaya 🏮 bullet train 🚄😄.
I'll make sure to prepare some snacks and enjoy the Shinkansen 🥳 banquet 🤗.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃!
I think it's a fun time to choose not only drinks, but also to think about whether you want to have dry food or sushi for dinner before you board the train 🤗.
