I've been drinking it as a food wine since it was recommended to me as a good food wine. I thought it might be a little too fragrant, but after drinking it, I don't mind! I think it would be great to drink it while frying in the kitchen... for me, it's the best food wine in the world.
Time is up, but Sendai Sorororo (2)
A great local sake! No doubt!
I'm taking a break from sake words for a while, as I'll be posting more in a row!
Thank you very much for the food and drink!
Slightly mellow + Slightly dry
As is typical of nama-shu, it has a sweet mouthfeel at first. The dryness comes later. The bitterness can be felt at the end, but after swallowing, the bitterness does not remain and a mild flavor remains.
When served cold, the aroma is green apple-like.
The taste is sweet and acidic at first, and then sweet and bitter in the middle.
It has a rugged taste like a pure sake.
When lukewarm, the aroma and taste become honeyed and the sweetness comes to the fore.
Sake brewed with Miyagi sake rice and yeast is delicious. The umami and sweetness of the rice form the foundation of the flavor, and the fresh aroma of the unpasteurized sake adds to it, making it a delicious sake to drink.
