My partner for home drinking is Shichihon Yari from Dough Shiga.
80% polished rice, fire-aged. It is great for heating up.
I will have squid sashimi I bought at a local supermarket as a snack.

I haven't had much Shichihonjari, but I have the impression it goes well with food 😊.

Warmed to lukewarm after 5 years of storage.
Old sake flavor.
Sourness comes in sharply and it hits the throat with a sharp taste.
Good sharpness.
It goes well with duck with fig miso.
It was very good.
