We got off at Kinomoto on the Hokuriku Line and went to the brewery.
Unfortunately, they did not offer tasting.
I was a bit confused, but I bought this sake.
We also got the sake seal book label!
The sixth cup was Omi chanpon + local noodles, so I'll go with Shiga sake!
It has a mild melon-like aroma. It has a beautiful dryness with a mineral taste and a mellow umami taste with a sense of rice that is not too heavy. The final dryness and crispness make it easy to pair with a meal 👍.
The aroma and flavor seemed to have expanded since the last time I drank it, so it was probably freshly opened(?).
It looks like a king's stipend, but it is not a king's stipend. It looks like Aki-Luka, but it is not Aki-Luka.
It has a strong umami, just the right amount of sweetness and acidity, and a dense flavor like a boiled-down mirin (sweet sake), but you can still drink it in large gulps.
I like this kind of sake.
It is very mild and has the aroma of wooden vats. It is slightly carbonated. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is tangy and spicy.
It is not tiring to drink, but it is very strong, so I was able to put down my cup after a few drinks. It is a rare type of sake that is healthy for both body and spirit.
On the second day, it was like a different kind of sake. The flavor is reduced and it is just too hard. You should drink it up as soon as possible after opening the bottle.
It tastes better in a flat coupe glass (see photo) than in a long, narrow flute glass. I don't know why.

Shichibon-Yari is a sake that uses local Shiga sake rice "Tamakae". It is a limited time only "freshly pressed" sake, for which I am grateful. The other day, I drank "Ki-no-Kan," a sake brewed in wooden vats, and enjoyed it so much that I bought this one. It is fresh, clear, and sweet, but has a nice sharpness. It has a rice polishing ratio of 60% and is almost like a ginjo. Great as a food sake. (I paired it with a hot pot). One of my top 3 favorite brands!
It has a full aroma, a sharpness as it goes down the throat, a freshness only possible with nama-shu, and a feeling of drinking Oroku, which is super delicious!
When I was in Nagahama, Shiga on business, I decided to visit Tomita Sake Brewery to buy a bottle of Shiga's famous sake "Nanamoto Yari" since I was in Nagahama!
After much discussion with the owner, I chose this Junmai Ginjo!
The taste is of the crisp and clear type, though! It has quite a bit of rice flavor 🌾 but not much sweetness. However, after a few days, the sweetness started to come out a little!
Personally, I would like a little more umami or sweetness....
I was able to bring this sake to Kadoya-san as a reserve for their hanpukai limited edition sake ✨️ Thank goodness 🙏The label is too cool 😍but I have a feeling it will be a bit classic sake😅.
The first aroma is mild, maybe banana 🍌, maybe almond 🥜, and when you take it in your mouth, you can feel the umami and then the smoky aroma comes through to your nose 😳I couldn't understand what it was like when I looked at the back label🤣The overwhelming umami of rice with a beautiful sweetness on top of it. The smoky aroma may be the aroma of grain 😋.
On the second day, the smoky aroma has settled down and the sweetness and umami of the rice has melted into a beautiful liquid 🥰It's supposed to be a food sake, but it's a very tasty one that can be enjoyed on its own as well ✨.

I vaguely remember having a Shichibonryari a long time ago, but I had an image of it as a clear, dry sake, but it's also a sweet and delicious sake that can be enjoyed on its own.
