I was also drinking Masamune for the first time and was half impressed with how many there were 😁.
The day before yesterday, I drank sake at an oyster-majority izakaya in Shinbashi.
The shoulder label has a crescent moon 🌙 front of Date Masamune's helmet.
I like oysters, but I rarely have a chance to eat raw oysters.
This special junmai from Senkachi Masamune was light with a subtle sweetness and acidity.
I drank a variety of other sake, but Hiroshima's "Houken" was the best match for oysters.
