Mr. Menshuoh was in Kitakyushu for training, so he made a trip to Kumamoto and we had an off-line meeting last Saturday 🎉.
The participants were Mr. Menshuoh, MAJ, Nocchi, kino., Choroki, Rigel, Chidorisashi, and me. 8 people, it seems to be a national convention 😁.
We drank quite a bit at RIKI... but I hardly took any pictures 😅.
And I have no taste impressions left 🤣.
I will only review this one that I drank at the beginning
Jikin Junmai Ginjo Omachi Hiire
It tastes like Jikin.
It is delicious 🥰.
Overall, it is well-balanced and an excellent sake.
Jikin is definitely delicious👍.
But you know, I'd like a little more of the ruggedness of Omachi 🤣.

San-do 2022 Yamadanishiki Natural Farming
VINTAGE of SANDO!
After 2 years of aging in the brewery, this is a rare bottle that has been aged for an additional year by honda-san 😳.
The manager told me to be careful when opening the bottle...
The lid flew off when the outer plastic clasp was half removed, but I managed to catch it👍.
It was a very healthy lay.
It was a very healthy San-do with a clean sweetness and a strong effervescence, just like a rice champagne 🍾.
Of course, when 8 of us drank it, it was an instant kill 😁.

This one must have had a strong flavor that I liked 😅.
I wanted to remember how it tasted since I haven't had much Murayu, but I drank it in the second half of the party, so I don't remember much 🤣. tomoさんPetit off-line meeting, the ninth drink: Toyo Bijin, Jyundo Isshu, Kame-no-o.
I love the Jundo Ittou series 🥰.
Overall, Toyo Bijin's sake is sweet, but Kame-no-o is a bit refreshing~!

The first drink at the much talked about Iraka 🥰.
Chidori-san's birthday was coming up, so I asked the manager to celebrate and this is what came up!
And this Iraka is a limited edition from Koyama Shoten 😳 (nothing special on the label, but there was a tape on the gap that said "special")!
This was delicious 🥰.
Probably the best 😋 I drank that day.

It's a stable San-do 😁.
I think it is often ordered as a toast 🥂, but since it is a Kumamoto sake, you can drink it any time in Kumamoto!

The fourth drink: Yamamoto test brew Ippozumi
My image of Yamamoto is a light drinker, but this one had a strong umami taste (probably) 😅.

The third glass: Kaze ga Kowaku Yamahai Junmai Ginjyo Nama Shu
First time to drink this brand 🔰.
Soft sweetness and acidity typical of Yamahai, and then it cuts through quickly.
The aftertaste is dry.

Second glass: Fudo no Omachi Junmai Ginjo
I asked for it because of the Omachi connection 😁.
This one was sweeter and darker than Jikin, but I think it had a sharp ⚔️

About half a year has passed since our last meeting, so I was contacted to have a drink.
Unfortunately, not all of us could make it, but 3 of us (Mr. kapiyot, Mr. Chidorisashi, and myself) had a drink 🍶.
The place was the usual RIKI, and of course we had the all-you-can-drink sake course 😁.
First glass: Jikin's Omachi!
All you can drink, but I could drink only one glass of Jikin👍.
It is a stable taste 🥰.

Sake made with Bodai yeast from Bodaiyama Shorekiji Temple in Nara.
This sake is made by Kuramoto Sake Brewery!
It has the sweetness and acidity typical of Bodai Hashiroshi, with a faintly distinctive aroma 😊.
This one is delicious too 🥰.
I haven't had Kuramoto sake yet, so I'll have to look for it!

Aroma of oak, caramel and slight bitterness 🥰.
I guess this is similar to brandy or Shaoxing wine 🧐.
Seems to go well with tzatos and the manager said it tastes great on the rocks with ice made from coffee 🤔.

First of all, Tenka Nishiki
This is a Junmai Daiginjo that had been made in a bag and left unrefined for 180 days. The unrefined sake was left to mature for 180 days 😳.
Tenge Nishiki is supposed to be a dry sake, but it had a sweetness like mirin (sweet sake) 😋, but the second half was dry and the balance was kind of bad? It was a strange sake 😁. tomoさんI introduced him to the manager as my son and told him I brought him to celebrate his graduation...what a No. 6 service he gave me 😳🥂🥂.
It was gorgeous and had a nice balance of sweetness, umami, and sourness, and according to my son, it wasn't like sake in a good way 😳.
He really liked it 😁.
