I bought this when I went to Daisen City, Akita Prefecture in November.
It is a sake from Daisen City. It has a strong ginjo aroma and is easy to drink with sweetness and moderate acidity on the palate. It was delicious.
Hana-no-Mai Sake Brewery, I've always been a sucker for this stuff, but this was delicious.
The brewer is an acquaintance of mine.
Thank you, Tutu's father, for the delicious sake!
It has a fresh, clean sweetness and acidity that makes you think there is melon juice in it. I am afraid it is only February, but it is the tentative No. 1 of this year in my history.
I thought I might like Koshitanrei the best as a sake rice.
Delicious. It is fresh and only once hi-ire. It is labeled as "special junmai," but it has a rice polishing ratio of 55%, making it in the ginjo class.
It had a refreshing acidity and sweetness that made me think it was muscat for a moment. I will stock up on some more. It was the first time I drank Gin-Otome sake.
It has a clean, clear, sweet taste with no habits. I visited the brewery and purchased this sake during the harsh winter season when snow was falling, but it was as fresh as spring when the snow melts.
The flavor of the Yamahai brewing process is very robust. Delicious both warmed and chilled.
The sweetness spreads to the back of the tongue. Not too spicy, not too sweet, soft sweetness of koji.
