It is fresh and has a slightly tangy, though not carbonated, stimulation and acidity that goes well with the warmth of spring.
It has a complex flavor with sweetness and richness, just like Aizu Chusho, but with a refreshing and clean aftertaste.
We enjoyed it very much.
Yumeko" sake rice produced in Fukushima Prefecture
It is made by Aruga Brewery, the same company as Seiki-Sama, but each has its own unique character.
It has a bit of sourness and bitterness.
It may be more to your liking than Sama.
Jinya is good for hot summer.
This is a past pic.
Red Label Junmai Ginjo
Blue Label Special Junmai
Both are delicious.
Personally, I prefer the red label which has more depth and complexity.
I bought this at a brewery in Inawashiro on my way back from snowboarding.
It is more refreshing than the red label, but has a sweetness or depth of flavor that is typical of Nanaeiro.
It is even more refreshing than the regular blue label, with a refreshing mouthfeel and aftertaste. (No schwarziness).
If you are not careful, you may finish it quickly.
Central part of Nakadori, Fukushima Prefecture. Sake from Ten-ei Village.
It is different from Hirotogawa by Matsuzaki Shuzo, also from Ten'ei-mura, in that it has a strong acidity.
Sake from the southern part of Nakadori in Fukushima Prefecture.
The taste is a little different from other areas in the prefecture, a little bit schwarz and a little bit punchy with a little bit of character. (Personal opinion).
The name and label are cool, but it also tastes crisp and is a great summer drink.
Sorry for the past pic series.
Unfiltered. Sweetness? Miscellaneous taste? Mellow and complex, but not bad aftertaste. I don't have the vocabulary, but in short, it's delicious.
This is a Junmai Ginjo from Hirotogawa.
It is a little more fruity and elegant than special junmai.
It has a strong sweetness and umami, but is not cloying. It is delicious.
Matsuzaki Sake Brewery is located in Ten-ei Village in the southern part of Nakadori, Fukushima Prefecture.
Personally, I would recommend this sake as one of the best or second best sake from Fukushima Prefecture.
It is mellow and sweet, with a strong character, but it does not linger, and you can easily drink it without any accompaniments.
It is a must-try Hirotogawa (series).
