Today's sake is Ganki Yamada-Nishiki, which is a very smooth and full-flavored sake. We started with simmered taro and pumpkin, then fried udo (Japanese udo) with sesame oil, and three kinds of squid, bamboo shoots, and cod sprouts with vinegared miso and sesame paste of kogomi (a kind of seaweed). On the day of the Spring Equinox, Gobashi rides? It is a Junmai Daiginjo Peach Color Nigori, a popular sake brewed with red yeast by Sakai Shuzo in Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is hard to see large bottles these days because it blows when you open it, so it is hard to get it to stop blowing, but the impact was great 😄They seem to be making smaller bottles these days and reducing the fizz, but it had a nice shwashy fizz and smooth texture that went well with the strawberries for dessert 😋.
