This is an excellent sake and I really like it very much. It has a smooth taste and it is a very decent daiginjo sake. I am not sure if the gold flakes that are giving it a special taste but it may have something to do with it.
This "Daisakyu" from Tottori I really like. Really smooth and close to a daiginjo ....isn't labeled either so not sure what grade. The Big Desert exceeded expectations....
Just had the "Aka"...excellent and one of the best sake I have had. It's a well known maker from Wakayama. It's very smooth with a unique character perhaps from the red rice. This also gives it a very unique hue.
This is an excellent sake. Near perfect for my palate. It's close to daiginjo but has the power of junmai without the bite. Definitely aged well after first opening. So maybe this is one of the best junmai I have had...
A special gente selection and a big new favorite. PERFECT smooth, clean slightly fruity daiginjo mitai. This maker has scored another great affordable sake. Around 888
A dg from hyogoken for only 888.en it's not smooth and slightly fruity like the dj I prefer. There is the alcohol kick to it that and a harsh junmai taste.
This was a great buy for 888 at the hanamasu store in Akasaka . It was an excellent dai ginjo and a near perfect illustration of what I would consider the perfect daiginjo...almost.
This is an excellent sake from Fukumitsuya's Kagatobi sake line up...this is the top one at over 5000 yen. Smooth daiginjo but could be smoother. It's incredibly easy to drink. I would probably give a 4.5 though. I have had just as good at a lower price point from these guys and several others that were better and cheaper. It still has a superb taste, bouquet and smooth aftertaste.
