Fumigiku Sake Brewery is a small sake brewery located in Toyama City with a long history and tradition, founded in 1916, and celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2016.
The current brewer, Keiki Hane, worked for a major fermentation company in Tokyo before returning to Toyama to take over his family's Fumigiku Brewery and enter the world of sake brewing.
Kobayashi Shuzo, the brewer of Houou Mita, was founded in 1872 in Oyama City, Tochigi Prefecture.
The brewery is located in the former village of Mitamura, which is blessed with beautiful rice paddies stretching as far as the eye can see and subsoil water from the Nikko mountain range. Houou Mita" was born here.
With 150 years of history, Houou Mita has continued to brew high-quality ginjo sake with the climate, history, and sensibility as its unique values.
