Report on the August meeting of the SAKEWA Kansai Chapter 20📝. I would like to end by introducing "Yuma" which I brought to the meeting 💡. When I attended the Kyushu Chapter's regular meeting during the Obon vacation, I was so shocked when I drank it as a toast that it was chosen over Nagasaki sake. ⚡️ It has a sweetness and aroma like grapefruit with a bit of bitterness. It is sold year-round, but I think it is a perfect summer drink 💡. I'm glad I brought it with me because I heard people say, "It's delicious ❗️" ✨

Next is Yuma, who is on the market this year. According to the Nanayo Sake Brewery's website, the brewery moved from Setaka in Miyama City in southern Fukuoka to Okagaki Town facing the Genkai Sea. There is also an article that says they have taken over the business and built a new brewery. The initial aroma is mild and sweet. In the mouth, it has a refreshing acidity and a sweet flavor that is very drinkable despite its low alcohol content of 13%. It was very tasty without being delicate, which is a recent trend 🍶. It has a good reputation even after seeing everyone's comments on Sake-no-wa 😊.

A new brand has been born in Fukuoka! Its name is "Yuma"! I asked the liquor store about it and they said it's a year-round sake, so I'm happy about that 😊. I've been wanting to drink it at home ever since Gra-chan told me about it at an off-line meeting in Fukuoka, and now it's finally happening! I opened the bottle just in time for the Mahjong Club activities. A sweet and tasty sake with a fresh aroma and a gentle acidity. The light tanginess of 14 degrees Celsius is pleasant, and it's really easy to drink and delicious. The moderate bitterness at the end of the bottle invites you to drink even more. I had not had this since I drank it at an offline meeting, but it was just as delicious as I remembered it! I'm sure you'll like it 😆👍 I think this will be very popular if it is sold nationwide. 🤩🤩🤩 It hasn't made its national debut yet, so if I lose, I'm a candidate for the dedication sake 🙄🙄.

I was told it was delicious at an off-line meeting in Fukuoka 𓃗Yuma𓃗san😃 From Fukuoka sake, Saga, Nagasaki, Yamaguchi, etc. I like more sake from neighboring prefectures like Saga, Nagasaki and Yamaguchi than from Fukuoka 💦. But I'm sure this will become a new Fukuoka specialty✨. Snoquets and Senkin... I like that kind of thing. Husband said it's like instrumental Masamune. Purchased at the Hakata Sumiyoshi Sake Brewery main store. Refreshing and clean, with a slight bubbly taste. It has a refreshing muscat-like acidity, followed by a light sweetness, and finally a light astringency from the ori. The alcohol content is low, so you could say it's like a juice. It is so good, you can drink it in large gulps. It goes well with meals. Sake rice: 100% Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio→60 Alcohol content→13

This is a report on the first meeting of the August regular meeting of the Fukuoka Branch of WAKENOWA 📝. Perhaps because we were a little excited at the 0th meeting, we entered the venue for the 1st meeting a little late. Fukuoka Sake Support 📣. This is the first sake I learned about and drank for the first time at the off-line meeting to welcome Mr. Yoohee to Fukuoka! I heard that this is the first year for the brewery. I had a cup of it at the restaurant and it was so delicious, I got a bottle of the 4-pack 😍. Light yet delicious 😋😍 Slightly spicy I can't say what it tastes like, but it has all kinds of delicious flavors 😆. It tastes like muscat after a while. I like it better than freshly opened ❣️ This is my favorite Fukuoka sake: ⤴️

Kansai Sake-no-wa Off-line meeting, Hankai Railway These are the sake brought by Yuehe-san. It is a rare sake that is hard to find. This off-line meeting is full of rare sake 😆. The "Yuma" that was passed around was very little left, so I was in a hurry to taste it. I think it was cloudy and tasted like muscat or lychee. It was a delicious sake with a slight cloudy taste like muscat or lychee. Thank you for the sake, Mr. Yoohee 😁.

The "Sake-no-wa Kansai_Hankai Train Charter Off-line Meeting" held on 2023.8.26. The 6th bottle of my check-in. This sake was provided by Mr. Yoohee. It is "Yuma" from Fukuoka Prefecture's Nanayo Sake Brewery. I didn't expect to be able to drink the sake that is currently tied for #1 on my list of Kyushu sake I want to drink 😳. Shichiyou Shuzo is a long-established sake brewery with a 160-year history, but is an up-and-coming brewery that moved its brewery and started brewing anew in 2022. Yuma is one of their first commemorative bottles! The brand name comes from the old name of Mt. Yukawa near the brewery, "Yuma-yama," which is also mentioned in the Manyoshu anthology. It is a low-alcohol designed sake brewed from Yamada-Nishiki produced in Fukuoka Prefecture with a rice polishing ratio of 60%. The appearance is a mist-white color. The aroma is citrusy with a refreshing acidity. On the palate, the acidity, sweetness, and bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit spread with the stimulation of gaseous sensation and disappear quickly. The aftertaste is short. The taste is "intense and refreshing" as described by the brewer, which is understandable. There are still many issues to be addressed, such as aroma and flavor complexity and persistence, but first, I would like to congratulate the brewery on its first start: ㊗️ Thank you for the food, Mr. Yoohee 🍶. Special thanks to Haruei Chichi and everyone at Fukuoka Sake-no-wa 🙇.
