Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO9
I had never tasted Miyogiku before, so I tasted it.
Many of them are made using mizu-hashiroshi, and my expectations for them were high.
Fat Yamato Junmai
This is the standard sake at the brewery. The reading is "Yamato". It has a little acidity typical of junmai sake, mild umami and sweetness, and a clean aftertaste.
◯Junmai 70 Mizumoto brewed with Nara Uruwashi yeast
It is not so much like mizumoto, and has little acidity. It was a bit, hmmm? I thought so.
Junmai Ginjyo, mizumoto brewed with Yamanokami yeast, unfiltered, raw sake
It has a rich, slightly acidic taste that I really like. I was very much tempted to buy it, but the refrigerator situation forced me to pass on it.
Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Nakadori Gohyakumangoku
It has a fresh, sweet and delicious taste on the palate with a refreshing sour aftertaste.
◯Kijoshu MIYOKIKU LIGHT Jungin-brewed
The sweetness is mellow and light, like a wine.
Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO ⑨
Miyogiku, a brewery in the Kansai region but rarely had a chance to drink it.
I drank
Junmai Yamato
What do you recommend? When I asked him, he said this is the first one.
It seems to be a basic sake of the brewery.
I imagined it to be a classic sake, but it is not so, and easy to drink. Relatively sweet
Gohyakumangoku Junmai-Ginjo Nakadori Unfiltered Nama-Shu Gohyakumangoku
Much sweeter and tastier than I imagined.
Would have bought it if I had visited first 🤔.
MIYORIKIKIKU Mizumoto Brewed with Nara Uruhashi Yeast
I expected 🫶 since it's mizu-hashimoto, but it didn't impress me much...
Hakusu Daiginjo
It had a gorgeous ginjo aroma and rich taste!
MIYOKIKU LIGHT Kijoshu Jungin Brewing
It is a kijoshu but a little light.
MIYOKIKU STRONG Kijoshu Jungin-brewed
Alcohol 17%.
I've had this one in the past.
I don't know if this time it was a draft or not, but it tasted just as sweet and rich as the last time.
They asked me which one was my favorite, the kijoshu or the kijoshu. I said STRONG 😁.
Good evening, bouken-san🌛 Did you not have any unfiltered, raw sake with a water yeast and a yamanokami yeast? I thought you would definitely like it a lot 🤔 I forgot to drink my kijoshu strong💦.
Good evening, Mr. Nemuchi.
I saw your post, but I think they were sold out because I didn't see any fresh water yeast 🤔I think you would probably like Strong because it is dark but sweet 😁.
Kijo-zake housed in a slim, elegant body
Sake that is slightly thickened and has a strong sweetness.
The heavy thirst-quenching and subtle aroma unique to kijo-zake are irresistible!
It goes well with octopus with vinegared miso, firefly squid, etc.
Preferred ★★★★☆
At the Miyogiku store in Kashihara-jingumae station
Mizu-hashiroshi sake was recommended to me and I bought it.
The aroma of mizu-hashiroshi is not so strong and the acidity is not so strong, so it is really easy to drink.
The taste is a little dry on the throat.
I like ★★★★
It's yesterday's revenge.
We set out for the Okura Ekimaenomise at Gotodo Station in Nara Prefecture!
Today, we had even more momentum.
First, we will go to "Miyogiku" located in Kashihara Jingu Station! (Video=Yamato no Umami Sake Sake x Snacks x Kinshu #5)
We arrived a little after 5:00 p.m.
Ah, a place I have seen in a video before~!
Tension rises.
I had the "sardine oil sardine" with sake.
It went very well with the sake.
It was very easy to drink!
This is the Kashihara Shrine in Nara Prefecture, which has a long history.
It must be a power spot.
However, my stay at the shrine lasted only 20 minutes! As soon as I get out of the ticket gate, I buy a ticket.
Next is Okura-san Ekimaenomise!
It was a rushed feast.
Thank you Jay & Nobby for your comments!
I feel like I've opened a new door. I never knew there was such a fun world out there...
I'm going to try to go on a journey of different drinks!
Tasting at Nara Izumi Yusai
Tasting a variety of Nara's sake at a store that has a full lineup of sake and sake tasting facilities!
We were interested in this sake brewery because they also make mizu-hashiroshi, a sake from Kashihara City, Nara ✨.
The sake had a long-lasting lactic acidity that came after putting it in the mouth, which was typical of mizu-hashiroshi!
I guess it was because it was cold brewed afterwards.
It has a rice flavor and bitterness that lingers afterwards!
It was rather easy to drink.
The first right, a local sake from Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture.
This one also has a classical flavor, astringency, and acidity, but it may have a stronger sake taste than the Kashihara City sake we compared 🤔.
It seems to be a sake dedicated to Kashihara Shrine.
