This is served with handmade oshogoshi, a traditional Japanese food made by the owner of "Sosaku Ryori Mon" (creative cuisine), which just opened last year (in front of Minami Toyama Ekimae). This set menu is not merely a reproduction of traditional food, but is a highly composed osechi with three layers of regional characteristics, techniques, and good fortune. At the festive occasion, the dish quietly presents to the eaters "how to live for the year ahead. It is a highly accomplished menu that evokes such resolve.
