I bought the label after watching "The Last Samurai of the Pass" on Amazon Prime 😅. For the price... I don't mean to be rude, but it is better than I expected. I had it at room temperature today, but I think it tastes better warmed up 😊.

The Echigo Nagaoka Clan of Sekihara Sake Brewery, Ltd. The brewery is said to be one of the first breweries to break away from Sanzoushu, a historic Chuetsu sake brewery with an impressive and unique brand name, Guname. The aroma is also quite peculiar. It's not that it's old, but it's complex and impactful. It has a complex and impactful flavor... graininess, woodiness, plantiness... What is the best way to drink this sake? I have been experimenting with about three different types of sake cups and different temperatures. I try to find out what kind of sake is best to drink with three different types of sake cups and at different temperatures. I try three different types of sake cups and different temperatures to see what kind of sake I like to drink. The enjoyment is unlimited when the temperature is changed. This one definitely warms up well, and I think I'm more into the snake-eyed kiki-inokuchi type than the flat cup. The flavor softens and the thick mouthfeel brings out the subtle sweetness. The thick mouthfeel softens the flavor and brings out the subtle sweetness. The acidity is kept in check, making for a full and gentle drinking experience. Delicious! Is it supposed to warm up, or was it originally designed that way? === It's a very good sake. I bought this in the spring at the Ponshukan in Nagaoka! I was surprised at how bananas-like it was the first time I drank it, and since then I buy it every time I go to Niigata 🙂. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is clear and mineral like water. The mouthfeel is mellow and smooth, with banana and caramel-like mellow and old sake-like flavors! Yet, the aftertaste disappears quickly. The gap between the flavor and the opposite, the quality of the sake, which is smooth and light like Niigata sake, is as unbearable as ever ✨. It's less bananasweet than the first time I drank it, but I still love the heavy-light pull of it👍. I hope to go back to the Niigata area after next winter!
