Kihei Junmai Tsukiyooshi Shizuoka Brewery

Heiki Shuzo Shizuoka Brewery is a relatively new brewery established in 2012. The brewery makes use of soft water from the Abekawa River to produce a beautiful sake. The brewery gives a strong impression of being suitable for eating.
This time, I bought a summer sake called Tsuki Ryoushi.
The first sip.
The taste is clear but a bit thick. A bit like a raw sake?
Average taste of Shizuoka sake.
There is nothing outstanding about it, but it has a good balance. Ideal for eating. Safe and stable.
This brewery brews ALL junmai sake without alkaloids. Incidentally, Kunimei also has a sake named "Tsukiryoshi".
Rating 3.6 (out of 5.0) 20220806
Commemorative sake for the 10-year anniversary of the Shizuoka brewery's revival.
The rice polishing ratio seems to be daiginjo specs, but the description is jungin and the price is reasonable.
It is a beautiful sake with little bitterness.
The first Kihei I tried, Omachi, was very good, but the Junmai I tried next was a little different from what I expected. This one is delicious 😋.
The snack was heshiko, which I bought on a trip to Fukui and forgot about. It was so salty.
Purchased at a souvenir shop at Hamamatsu Station. Rich in aroma and moderately spicy, this is a good sake. It also tastes like good water.
I think it tastes more like sake bought in the mountains of Yamanashi or Chichibu. It is clearly different from the one from Ibaraki. The aroma is richer here. Sake is interesting!
I went to the Oyama "Omachi and Local Sake Festival". It was very crowded with people. There, I participated in an event where you can taste Omachi sake from all over Japan, and tasted Omachi from 61 different breweries. 😉 ...
Among them, I selected a few that I thought were delicious, though they were my personal favorites.
Here is the first bottle. I was a little surprised that it was related to Heiki Shuzo in Okayama, but I was convinced that it had the qualities to enhance the deliciousness of Omachi.
It has a soft and beautiful mouthfeel, with a subtle sweetness and umami that gradually spreads in the mouth, and a clean aftertaste that goes down the throat nicely. It has a clean and comfortable image. It seems to go well with anything as a food sake. It is a good sake to drink with anything as a food sake 😁.
Polishing ratio: 60
100% Yamada-Nishiki
The sake itself did not have a deep taste, but was light but had a unique flavor. The sake itself did not have a deep taste, but it was light and had a unique flavor. The taste also seemed to have lost its peculiarity. It may have been a good thing that yesterday's dish was a hot-pot dish with a strong flavor.
We drank an evening glass of Shizuoka beer and fresh wasabi, which we had gotten on our Izu trip on Saturday and Sunday.
The fresh wasabi was bought at a wasabi store near Joren no Taki waterfall.
The aroma of freshly rubbed wasabi is irresistible.
Serve with chilled tofu or fish cakes.
Izu has wonderful nature and hot springs, but there is also something about the atmosphere that makes you feel like you are on a trip.
Amagi crossing from Joren no Taki Waterfall.
It is the world of Sayuri Ishikawa's "Amagi koshi" and Yasunari Kawabata's "Izu no Odoriko".
I love both of them👍.
I got this Kihei Junmai Sake at the Joren no Taki waterfall store.
It is from the Shizuoka brewery of Kihei in Okayama.
Classical sake, with the softness and freshness of Shizuoka sake, but, well, classical.
I read Kawabata Yasunari's Izu no Odoriko (The Dancing Girl of Izu) again at the inn after this Izu trip to Amagi Koshi, and it was great 😌.
Hiraccio-san Good evening ^ ^
Shizuoka barley wine 👍
My daughter likes it too and drinks it sometimes 😁.
I've never had Kihei.
I need to drink more local sake ✌️.
Good evening.
I love Shizuoka, but I haven't been there for a while.
I love the souvenir sake, but it looks good!
I can't read books with words because I have a headache, but I love Amagi Koshi, so I'll go to Joren no Taki and buy it!
Hiraccio, good evening... I had a Kihei once, but it was twisted or not so good 🤣.
I love Amagi crossing in Izu... I'd love to visit the Amagi Tunnel 🙌

Your trip to Shizuoka...(*^^*)
Joren Falls, Amagi Crossing - I always pass through there for work, so I'm not in a situation to feel the flavor of the place, but it's a nice place to drive around on a slow trip!
Good evening, Manta!
It's Shizuoka Barley Wine! I originally like Sapporo, so I'm happy to get it as a souvenir.
I'm glad you liked the beer, because I used to like Sapporo as a gift.
Shizuoka brewery is still young, founded in 2012.
Good evening, Shinjo-san 🌆.
Shizuoka was still good.
It's just an ordinary souvenir sake, very ordinary, with a tag on the bottle showing Joren no Taki waterfall and a dancing girl, but that's good, that's all that matters.
Good evening, Mr. Manachy 🌆.
Kihei, it was a very ordinary sake👍.
I didn't go there this time, but the Amagi Tunnel of the old Amagi Tunnel has a great atmosphere.
I would like to walk through the old road to Kawazu someday.
Good evening, Mr. Kissey 🌆.
I see that you are going there on business.
It is quite varied and good for a drive when you travel slowly, isn't it?
The skyline and the coastline of Izu were also quite nice.
There is a nice hot spring in Minami-Izu.
Next time you go there, please visit a hot spring hotel called "Hana no Omotenashi Nanraku" 🎶The open-air bath is good 🎶There is also a private open-air bath 🎶‼️.
Thank you very much for the information, Kishii 😊.
I looked at the website.
Looks like very nice hot water and a nice atmosphere at that hot spring resort!
I will take note of this useful information as I want to go back to Izu 😌.
Thank you for the information, Manta 😊.
I saw the homepage of this shop, and I like Kaiun, Isobojumi, Kikuizui.......
I did not pass by this store this time because I went from Shimoda to Ishirozaki and then to Matsuzaki Onsen.
I travel every week in a row, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It atrophies without a holiday for three weeks. That's why I'm soaking in alcohol on my business trip. This time is this! It is Kihei. It's soft and has a good flavor. This is what sake is all about, isn't it? I think it's a royal taste like this. I was satisfied with a can of mackerel and a can of yakitori.
