We were exhausted from walking all day, so we gave up the coin-operated drink comparison at the Ponshu-kan and had a drink comparison of Waraku Mutual 😉 From left to right: Toku Jun, middle: Junmai Ginjo, right: Daiginjo.
I started with the Tokujun, which was delicious with food! And then we drank the Junmai Ginjo, which tasted even better 👌as if the taste of the meal had been upgraded!
Finally, Daiginjo ‼️fruity 😋 Yes, the winner 🥇 unanimously with my mother👍Daiginjo is delicious not only with a meal but also on its own❣️.
The Daiginjo was so good that I asked her to buy it for me as a souvenir ✌️.

Omotesando Niigata-kan Nespace: 20210322 purchased ststFor my fourth cup, I decided on the "Koshihikari" which caught my attention!
The palate is clean and refreshing, but as you taste it, it mellows out a bit with a banana feel.
The acidity tightens it up so that it does not interfere with the taste, so it is well-balanced and easy to drink👍. たっけんI've had it cold, cold, lukewarm, and hot, and lukewarm was the best. Cold sake is spicy, but lukewarm sake mellows out the flavor and richness. The hotter it is, the more alcoholic it becomes, so I think I like it lukewarm. Just when you thought the Niigata Sake Festival had been cancelled for the third year in a row, this event comes along!
Only online tickets are available in advance, with a maximum of 200 people per 2-hour slot. Antigen test and temperature check. Thorough infection control measures.
Eighty-six breweries in the prefecture gathered, and each brewery had one type of sake sitting in a plastic cup. Visitors carry trays around with them and pick up their favorite sake.
You can take a seat at a spacious table and compare and examine the various sakes while savoring them.
The cups are numbered, and you can drink while looking at the information on the list.
It was great!
For souvenirs, we chose a few sakes that we don't usually see.
This is the Koshihikari Special Junmai from Waraku Goson, which we enjoyed tasting.
It has a rich aroma and a clear mouthfeel like water.
And yet, it has a strong umami.
You can feel the sweetness and astringency.
It's delicious!
This would also be good heated!
