As it is a travel sake, we purchased it at the Oishida station kiosk.
It is made by Wada Shuzo, the same company that makes Aradama.
The brand name was registered as Aradama.
I love Aradama, so I have high expectations for it.
Surprisingly? It has a fruity ginjo aroma.
The taste is light and sweet. There is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
It is a good sake with a high degree of perfection.
It was said to be slightly dry, but the spiciness that stimulates the throat and the sweet umami that lingers in the mouth are deep in flavor.
It is also good that it is dark ❗

Yamagata's Beautiful Sake Aramama Snow-covered Junmai-shu
Manufacture date: 2023.12Capacity: 1.8L
This sake is made from "Yukikake" rice grown in Yamagata Prefecture, and is a junmai-shu with a rich, umami flavor. It has a crisp, dry aftertaste with just the right amount of acidity, and can be enjoyed cold or warmed." ←From the back of the label
In the spring of 2024, cherry blossoms bloomed in the Murayama region of Yamagata Prefecture.
On the way from Fukushima to Yamagata, the mountains of the Iide and Asahi mountain ranges can be seen from the Okitama region (Yonezawa) of Yamagata Prefecture, and the contrast between the little remaining snow on their peaks and the blue sky is very beautiful this time of year. Tonight, I would like to enjoy this sake while contemplating the beauty and vitality of nature. 240414 Ki
Labeled "GI YAMAGATA" (Yamagata sake)? It has a sticker with the production date of 2023.11. It is a very tasty sake that I am sure the locals love to drink. Opening the package→taking a picture→transcribing various things from the bottle before drinking→warming the sake→heating the sake→appreciating and drinking while watching the brewery's website→here we are now. The taste? Flavor? I wonder if the flavor will change if I drink it cold or at room temperature.... I'll try it tomorrow.(*^^*) I'm still not very good at expressing the taste in words, but I'm going to enjoy the "now" with a good sake.
