Banshu Issen is usually associated with fruity dry wines, but this one has a creamy, slightly sweet taste with a hint of melon and a burst of freshness.
It has a melon aroma and is bursting with freshness ✨It tastes mellow and juicy, too good 🙌🙌!

Two years ago 🚗 I visited Minami Haga, a roadside station near a sake brewery, and checked in 😅I bought a mini bottle of Banshu Issen and a bottle of Old Pine Sake Brewery's Sansho as a souvenir.
Sanyo Bai Sake Brewery and Old Pine Sake Brewery are almost across the street from each other, about a minute walk away, so I recommend you visit both of them 😊.
I learned later that Banshu Issen Junmai sake is their standard sake. The rice used for the sake is Hyogo Yume Nishiki, and the taste is soft and mellow, as you would expect from a standard sake 😃.

This is my favorite light nigori I've ever had 🤗🤗I got it early this year 👍👍 and opened the bottle 😇Light stirring begins 🌀Upright aroma is full-bodied and fruity. When you drink it, the bitter sweetness spreads along with the deep aroma. There is also a piquant gas, dryness from spiciness, moderate bitterness and sourness... I drank it all lightly 😂.

Purchased at Hasegawa Sake Shop in Tokyo Station. A little expensive, but a nice size.

The aftertaste is dry, and it has been a while since I have encountered such a crisp dry sake! I was aiming for it.
