After a hard day of sightseeing in Hiraizumi and Hanamaki, I dozed off at the hotel. I thought about having a convenience store meal for dinner, but I got up and went to "Momodori Ekimae Shokudo". The energetic owner asked me if I wanted to have a drink or a meal. A cheerful owner asked me if I wanted a drink or a meal. When I told him that I like to drink warm sake, he served me sake. We had aji-take mushrooms, butterbur and herring (delicious), a piece of their famous grilled chicken, and an additional piece of nikutou-dofu (meat and tofu). The niku-tofu (meat and tofu) was also delicious, lightly seasoned with Japanese soup stock, but there was so much on the plate that I was full. I ate too much!

Lunchtime drink with pickled Nishin Nanohana Sake degree 5. Although it is labeled as a dry junmai sake, it is easy to drink for everyone.

Today, we visited Kiku no Tsukasa's sake brewery. We tasted various brands, listened to their explanations, and purchased three of their dry wines. The people at the store were very nice. I would love to join the brewery tour when the Corona is settled! Today, we will start with this one. The slightly tangy taste is followed by a delicious spread of flavor. The aftertaste that goes away smoothly makes it a really delicious sake.

One-cup challenge (Polish) / Oooh! Tasted 100ml of Genmai and drank enough Alcohol 15 degrees Pale yellowish color I thought it might be spicy, but it's not ❗️. It's the type of sake that you drink slowly while enjoying a little bit of something 😄. I picked up some cod sprouts and used them as tempura🎶. I also tempura the wakasagi that I had frozen 💕 It goes well with bonito tataki too! I also made crabapple salad 🥗💮! I'd like to try it with meat, but I've made too much tempura💦. Extra photos are from Miyako City 😊.

Erin, good evening 🌇. When I lived in Iwate, the most I drank was Nanafukujin❗️. By the way, Eririn is a great cook 🤗. Today's food looks delicious too 👍. Why don't you do a guest house 😁.

Good evening, Eririn 🤗. If you're going to do the one-cup challenge, let's go with the cheapest and most sugary one you can find👍. It's also a good experience to get sick to your stomach ☺️.

Rigel, congrats on your decision! I had a hard time with a flat stomach when I was comparing drinks with Hitsuji 😭 So I'm going to go with the relatively easy drinking area 😁.

Pon-chan, konban-ha! Iwate is called "Tarabo". There are quite a few sake breweries that serve one-cup sake, so I thought I'd update this page a little bit at a time 😊.

Harry Sakeboy, konbanhā! I don't buy wild vegetables because they are sold at produce stands and supermarkets, but when I go glancing in the mountains 🌱🌱🌱 they are there 😁. We also have udo and ului in our field 😆.

Tsubu-chan konbanha! I don't like fried food because it makes my stomach upset, but vegetables and wild vegetables are fine 😆. When I'm done with tarabo, I'll be on a wild vegetable binge with kogomi, shidoke, warabi, and bamboo shoots🎶.

Polished rice 65%. Purchased at Koyama Shoten. It has a very strong alcohol taste. I like to drink it warmed in a cup. It's best served lukewarm. It's hard to drink Hiya or cold unless it's a handmade Shichifukujin Junmai Ginjo...

Polished rice 70%, alcoholic beverage. I bought it on impulse when I found it at Nagatsuka Sake Store. It was the first time I saw Shichifukujin in Tokyo, and it was also the first time I saw this Shichifukujin. It has a pungent aroma. I couldn't tell what it was. The attack is thick and alcoholic. It's cheap, and I think it would taste better warmed up.
Japanese>English

It's good heated. I think it's better to heat it up more than just lukewarm. The alcohol is gone, and the taste changes to something that goes in easily.

Last one on 2/20. I tried to be lazy and rinse it in a teacup, but it hit my nose directly with alcohol, which is not good. I can't slack off. But it's only 1,320 yen including tax, so it was a good drink.

Sake purchased in Morioka at the end of the year for the New Year. A little? I was a little late, but I opened the bottle. The Hiraoki Shoten where I bought it is a liquor store where you can have a corner bar, and I heard that Rui Yoshida visited there. There is a very nice old lady there. The flavor is strong, with a lingering finish and a nice crispness. It seems to go well with oden and yakitori on a cold night. It is a good old-fashioned sake. It's not a sake for New Year's, but rather a sake for everyday drinking!

65% polished rice What is the aroma? It's strong for rice, and it's not exactly fruity... When you put it in your mouth, it is dry. I think I like Junmai Daiginjo better... But when I paired it with some snacks, it was refreshing. The snacks are okazu gakko.

The aroma is fruity and Fruity melon like sweetness in the mouth 😋. The impression is rich and delicious If I had to pick a similar sake, I'd say Jyushiro😊. This is a hit👍. It's so good... so good that I drank too much today? Definitely🤣 It's a good thing that good sake doesn't leave a residue the next day. I sleep too well and wake up at odd hours these days😅.
