Sake rice: Hachitanishiki and Yamadanishiki
Dry, not as dry as drunken whales, but with a slightly peculiar taste, which perfectly matched the steamed scorpion fish 🤩.
The sake is not as dry as drunken whale, but it has its own unique peculiarity, and it is a perfect match for steamed scorpion fish 🤩!
"Houken Retro Label" is distributed only locally in Hiroshima. It is a blend of Junmai Daiginjo-shu and Junmai Ginjo-segments based on Junmai Hachitan-Nishiki sake for the local market. It has a strong rice flavor, just the right amount of sharpness, and excellent balance! Can be served cold or lukewarm."
It has a full autumnal flavor and a sharp, sharp aftertaste. If Kamo Kinshu is dry and somewhat modern, Hoho Tsurugi is dry and sharp like a Japanese sword.
The taste is too complex for me to understand, but all I can say is that it's good.
I know I'm always pushing Houken, but I really want you to try it, whether you like the classic dry taste or the fruity taste of today's world. I guarantee you will be surprised and discoveries will be made for both. I know it's not easy to get it, especially in the Kanto area, but if you come across it, we'd love to have it.
The other side of the two-top will come later.
I opened a bottle of "Aki-agari" from "Houken" that I had been curious about.
The mouthfeel is clean and goes down the throat easily. It is gentle and has a strong umami flavor. It gives the impression of a food sake that is versatile enough to be matched with autumn flavors.
As the hot weather gradually calms down, you can enjoy the pleasure of autumn sake. Delicious: ❗️
A very good autumn sake as a food sake! The astringency and acidity, including bitterness, give it a nice crispness. It also has a refreshing coolness. After that, the umami taste spreads, though not strongly. The flavor increases as the temperature approaches room temperature. It is as if the umami has been added to Houken, which is easy to drink without getting tired of it, and the depth has been added to it.
It wasn't great when we opened it, but it was consistently delicious.
It's also freshly-packaged, so it's the hiyaoroshi of our house.
Houken is not sweet, but delicious!
I love that sake like this is winning awards.
Purchased at a liquor store in Tokyo Station.
I chose a sake from Hiroshima Prefecture, which I had never tasted before.
It has a slightly fruity flavor, but the sweetness disappears quickly and easily without leaving a sweet taste in the mouth.
I don't like fruity sake, but this one has just the right amount of sweetness!
Personal Satisfaction:★★★★*
