Hirosaki Collective Buying ①.
In early September, I visited Aomori Tsugaru during my summer vacation. This time, I bought sake in bulk from Miura Sake Shop in Hirosaki City. I took home delivery of 6 four-pack bottles of Hirosaki and Kuroishi 🚚.
First up was Hirosaki's Rokune. There were sapphire and ruby, and after much agonizing and worrying, I chose the one with "beautiful sweetness and a clean aftertaste" on the liquor store's pop-up.
Really, the first sip is more on the sweet side, but it is clean and easy to drink! The base is Aomori sake, so it goes perfectly with soy sauce, miso, and salt-flavored local dishes.
Tonight, we are serving simple side dishes to go with the Aomori sake. Vinegared octopus, edamame with salted kelp, boiled corn, pea salad with bonito flakes, and potato cod roe salad ...... go together so well😍!
I'm going to stop eating western style dinners for a while and plan to eat simple side dishes and drink Aomori sake ❤️ I'm really looking forward to it 😋!
