Salmon Monogatari in Kansai 9 I was wondering where to use the rest of my ticket. Then I was asked to go to Takefujima. A sake brewery revitalization company established by a Gekkeikan alumnus has acquired the brewery and is now making sake under a new structure. I drank the sake before the takeover twice in the past, but the last time I drank it, the off-flavor was so bad that I hadn't had it since then😅. This is a single heat-refining hiyaoroshi. It has a rounded taste with a good sense of maturity and a nice roundedness. Personally, I felt it was a little spicy. It seems to have joined the Meimon Sake Association and is listed in the winter Shiboritate Nama Sake section, so I will try to get a bottle. After this, we decided to leave the venue and drink some more.

Salmon Monogatari in Kansai (8) Eye-catching retro label. I think it was a good choice. Fruity and gorgeous. It was moderately sweet and gave the impression of being alsobe-like at the end. I don't remember much, but we talked a lot and got a pamphlet and flyer. Too bad they were sold out of Watanosen's raw sake 😥. Next to the booth was Taga's booth, and the toji-san (I guess) came in to the conversation every now and then. I wonder if the breweries are on good terms with each other. Taga brought their AZM series! but I didn't drink it 💦.

Salmon Monogatari in Kansai ⑥ Junmai Ginjo Nama Shu (Junmai Ginjyo Nama Shu) from Towashi was officially released and was available for drinking at this event. I asked a sales person, "Did you see the insta-live? When I told the salesman that I had seen the live insta-live, he said he was embarrassed! He said he was embarrassed 😁. I heard that the contents are the same as the raw sake that has sometimes been on the spotlight before, but they changed the design so that you can tell it's different from the fire-brewed version. So it was just as good as the previous one 😋. I asked if they were going to add more to their lineup, and they said it was still a secret, so I guess I can count on that 😊. I thought the guy calling out looked like Mr. Takagaki, and the next day I checked his Instagram and it looks like he was. I wish I could have talked to him 😥.

It was like meeting a celebrity😊. We even took a picture together ✨ We drank Shikanaru Junmai Ginjyo Yumachi Nama-zake It's sweet and delicious 😋 It has the feeling of Omachi's raw sake. Shikanaru Junmai Ginjyo Omachi Nama Sake The taste is more muscat-like than in the raw sake. I thought the hi-ire version had a more coherent taste. Shizukushita 20010 days aged Junmai Ginjo Nama-no-Harazake Very fruity. More refreshing and sweeter than Shikanari. impression. Honjozo Gokumi This sake has won awards in both the heated sake contest and the delicious in a wine glass awards. Drank warmed. It has a gentle flavor and can be enjoyed at various temperatures by many people. Where can I buy it? It was so crowded that I had to leave and come back again 😅The place was always full of people and really popular like an idol 😳.

Salmon Monogatari in Kansai④. Kamitaka-san was conscientious in offering only one ticket for any alcoholic beverage including whiskey. The basic price seems to be based on the rank of the sake, but there were also booths that set the number of tickets based on the quantity. The first brewery I visited had more tickets, but also offered more sake. I guess some people are happy with a lot of tickets, but I like to drink a little bit of various sakes, so I'm fine with a little bit less 😁. There are a lot of places I didn't make it to 😥. I drank Shinjitaka Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake Mizuhashi This is the raw version that was not brought to Kobe Hankyu. It has just the right balance of easy drinking without being too peculiar. It has a nice sweetness, which I like very much 😍. The rice used is Nipponbare. Kamitaka Junmai-shu Mizuhashirokomi I didn't drink it at the Kobe Hankyu because it wasn't good enough to drink at home in the past. It's thick, drinkable, and usually delicious 😋. I wonder if the one I bought at Daiei was old? The secret to this sake being under 1,000 yen is that they use Nipponharu. I told him about Nippon Soul and garden sake and he said it's a maniacal sake 🤣.

Salmon Monogatari in Kansai ③. Chidori Masamune is a sake that is rarely available in Hyogo unless you go to the brewery. The head brewer of the brewery was there. The previous and current brewer are both graduates of Tokyo University of Agriculture, so they also produce red rice sake. The rice is also grown in the company's own terroir. The sake is pressed by the Yaegaki method, not the Yabuta method. We drank Mita Ichi Junmai Namaishu I thought it would be a classic type, but it had a nice aroma and was quite sweet. It was sweeter than the Mita Shibori I drank before and I liked it. Mita Mita Fukuda Junmai Daiginjo It has a classical taste with a strong graininess. It is not like a daiginjo and is not very subtle... There were people waiting behind me, so I couldn't talk much with them, but when I asked them if Hamadaya carried it, they replied, "Yes, Hamadaya does. I said, "Wow! I got a great reaction from him. He said that for some reason, they carry it there 🤣why is that 😅?

Salmon Monogatari in Kansai (2) HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023, Hidetsuki made a good impression at HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023. The same sales person visited us as at Kobe Hankyu. Umaisan was drinking Junmai Namae, saying that she was curious about Shugetsu because of what you guys were saying about it 🤣. I asked him about it, and he told me it was a liquor store in my neighborhood 😊. He gave me his business card and said to contact him if I could come to the brewery with a lot of people😅. Personally, I live downstream from the Muko River, so the fact that it's brewed with Muko River's subsoil water is very important 😁. We drank Shugetsu Josen You can drink it with only one ticket. I was lured by the voice saying, "You can drink it with one ticket. The official website says the rice polishing ratio, so I guess it's a honjozo? It has a classic but gentle and generous taste, with a hint of sweetness coming in afterwards. I heard it won a gold medal in a heated sake contest, so I'd like to try it heated. Shugetsu Junmai Namaizu (not pictured) Tasted at Kobe Hankyu, but had to check again. The acidity is still pleasant and tasty. I read in a past post that he drank a 300ml of this last year and wrote a review that was the exact opposite.

Our first stop was Nakao Sake Brewery, the only sake brewery in Ibaraki City. In the past, they were unable to produce sake for a year due to a mistake by the JA, and they have been having a lot of trouble with crowdfunding recently as well💦. We drank Omiyama Junmai Ginjo Mishima Omachi Nama Shuzake This sake is made from Mishima Omachi, a fantastic sake rice. I couldn't drink the ones I've had in the past because of the off-flavor, but I had no problem drinking this one. It has a unique flavor with a clean and cool feeling. It has a strong peculiar taste😅. Nagori Sake Slightly sparkling It was schwiffy, but thin.... Thin? I think it's probably a raw sake, but I don't know the details. I think it was probably a draft sake, but I don't know the details. There was a lot going on here, including a photo with the brewery's head brewer and an interview with TV Osaka 🤣.
