The wine was fresh and rich, with a gorgeous aroma and was very tasty. The aroma was even better when served in a large wine glass, and I drank it in gulps.
At the Setsubun Festival at Yoshida Shrine, Kyoto. I love Matsui Sake Brewery's Kamizo. The sake was served in a wooden box with the aroma of hinoki cypress branded on it, which made it even more elegant and fragrant.
The clear, transparent color, refreshing pear-like aroma, and crisp sweet taste were great to go down one's throat.
The Asahi Nikkohi, which my friend had reserved for me, was a delicious sake that could be drunk even in the morning with its fruity and moderately nigori impression. It went well with the lucky beans we had purchased at the Setsubun Festival the day before and the Setsubun-only Nama-yatsuhashi (fresh yatsuhashi). As my friend said, it was like a freshly pressed rice juice.
