Nokomi is a sake from Saga and is not often sold outside the prefecture. This sake is brewed with a yeast developed by the 9th generation. It is said to be sweet, with a sake degree of minus 10, and has a sweet, sour, and juicy taste. The label is just stylish and earthy.
The aroma is nice, and it is the type of sake that you can go for refreshingly, not so much sweet as amazingly sweet. It may be because it has a certain amount of sourness like apples. It does not taste like sake, but you can feel the rice in the aftertaste.
I highly recommend this sake to sake beginners. It is best to drink it chilled.
Last Saturday, I attended a BBQ in our town and had no recollection of how I got home. I was so furious...
The aroma was a little peachy, and the taste was mild. Nokomi is basically a sweet sake, but the sweetness is relatively moderate. The sweetness and umami of the rice, typical of Omachi, can be felt well. It is a little heavy, but I like Nokomi.
Hi Gula 😃
Oh dear, your wife had a major eruption, don't worry 😅.
Well, it's a good thing you didn't collapse on the street like me and get protected by 👮 and have your wife come to the station to pick you up 😌.
Good evening, Mr. Gura 😃
Nokomi was my favorite sake in the HAMA BAR drinking contest...it's delicious 😋You've done it 🤣I'm not in a position to say 😅.
Loose umami from acidity. Sake with acidity. Dry umami. It is not so subtle, but it goes well with meals. Sour umami. 85 points
