Yesterday, I took a paid day off to visit Kyoto.

After purchasing sake at Nishiki Market, I went to a sake bar for a drink.
The bar is called Nihonshu-ya Shizuku.
The price was ¥3,500 for the all-you-can-drink course and ¥2,500 for the all-you-can-drink option.

The temperature-controlled heated sake was delicious.
The Yaetsuru was especially good. Like Tamagawa, it is a Kyotango sake, and although it was the first time for me to drink this brand, I was very satisfied with the richness of the punchy Yamahai and its smooth, crisp taste.
We also had Nanamotoyari, Tama-Asahi, Suwaizumi, and Hiwada, all of which were excellent and we drank too much of them.

At a liquor store I was familiar with, I ordered and was recommended a sake that had a doshish feeling like Koei Kiku's Tsukishita Muyori.
At first, the aroma and taste of old-fashioned sake made me think something was different, that it was too alcoholic and too old-fashioned. The more I drank, the more delicious it became! The more I drank, the more delicious it became! It has a fruity, rich and dry taste with a nice complex aftertaste. There is quite a bit of acidity. I tend to get tired of junmai ginjos that are refreshing and light, but I like this one because I can drink it for a long time. I guess professionals are different. I will consult with them again.
