Memories of the trip (5) Please bear with me a little longer😅 Arriving at Tottori station in the afternoon, the first thing to do was... you already know what to do 😊! Go to Souvenirs to buy some local sake‼️I was wondering what kind of Tottori sake would be good, and decided on this one that caught my eye 🤗. The place to take pictures is also the Tottori Sand Dunes🐪. Strong winds were blowing 😅and the dunes were in the background 📸. But I really wanted to take a picture under the blue sky ☀️ Let's enjoy the sake! The water color is yellow when poured into the cup! If you look closely at the label, it says it's aged for 3 years! Take a sip and you'll be surprised at how dry it is! After two sips, I switched to heating sake! I heated it up and it tasted dramatically better 😋 I knew Tottori sake could be heated up 😄! The heated flavor is so good!

Pon-chan, I'm with you 😃. I saw your post about Ponchan going to Tottori in the summer and thought 🥹I'd like to see it at least once before I die🤗. Indeed! Maybe it's a good thing it's now, when the hot sake is so good 😄. The curry 🍛 I had for lunch was delicious too!

This sake is one of my new favorites. There wasn't much of an aroma that I could pick up at the time, but I did notice it's more earthy hue, likely from what the sake was stored in for the aging process. The flavor was a soft roll on of vanilla, without it feeling sweet or having a tart after taste. The later notes were fruity, mostly an apple flavor, with the alcohol providing a crisp finish. What I found most unique about this sake was the heavy body despite being filtered. Delightful.
