The second drink was a sake from my hometown Izumisano, Osaka.
This was my first time drinking it, and it is sweet, fruity, and so delicious. 🙆♂️
It tasted similar to the first cup of Nanamizu, with no bitterness after drinking, and to be honest, it exceeded my expectations.
It was a gift from a junior colleague at work.
I received it last year and remember that it had quite a punchy 🤜 flavor.
It has a faint smell of cemedine, and a somewhat chemical 🧪 atmosphere in the mouth, but it has a nice, clean taste that doesn't interfere with the meal 😊.
It's only 3 days old and it's getting sweeter and tastier 🙌
I got it in a bottle, so I'm thinking of trying some heated sake with ✖️ on the back label 🧐.

Much smoother and tastier on the palate than I had imagined from the label.
It is a strange sake that passes smoothly on the tongue, and one can only taste the umami without stimulating any part of the palate.
I feel that because the sake tastes so good, it would be better with a side dish that doesn't interfere too much with the taste, but I also feel that this sake is the kind of sake that accepts strong, dark flavors.
When you put it in your mouth, the umami is assertive. Perhaps because it is served cold, the aroma is not so strong.
With all due respect, I did not expect Yamada-Nishiki from Osaka to go this far. More than I expected.
The red label, which has been in the lineup for some time, was made with Yamadanishiki produced in Higashiosaka under the supervision of Tetsuji Shampoo Hat (only Kansai people would understand this 🙄 ), but this green label uses Yamadanishiki from Hineno, Izumisano City, where the brewery is located.
Unlike the dry red label, this one is said to be sweet.
It is fruity and light, with a gentle but not overpowering sweetness. There is a slight spiciness at the end. Although it is a pure sake, it is not heavy and easy to drink.
I think this may be my favorite of all the Shounosato sakes I've had so far.

The last one was a bottle of sake with aluzoe.
It's so punchy!
It has a nice mouthfeel, so you can drink it easily, but it makes your throat and nose hot.
I couldn't take any more, so maybe it is a good sake for the end.
I would like to drink it plain.

We went to a restaurant in Senbiru basement, which we had wanted to visit for a long time.
The proprietress recommended this bottle of makgeolli.
It has a refreshing taste with a gentle sweetness.
The finish was crisp and dry, and I thought it would be a good mid-meal sake.
Unfortunately, my stomach was too full to gauge its potential.
I bought it as recommended at a roadside station.
It has been a while since I had a dry sake.
I drank it in one gulp and it was gone in no time at all!

This sake is from Izumisano, in the south of Osaka.
Today I'm here for an event called Tenma Daijukai, a big gathering of Osaka sake. It was very crowded ^ ^.
I've been drinking so many different sake breweries that I don't understand what's going on, but Shonosato was a personal favorite of mine.
It has a slightly refreshing aroma.
The sweet and sour apricot aroma is refreshing, and the second half of the bottle is very dry and tasty.
Today I participated in the Osaka Prefecture preliminary round of the sake tasting competition at the Tenma Taishukai, but the results were disappointing💦.
The result was so bad that I crushed the mineral water I was drinking, and it was so frustrating that I had no face to show to the sake drinkers!
We had to switch the order of 7 kinds of sake and drink them twice to match, which was extremely difficult 😱😱😱😱👻👻🌪.
But it was a very interesting and good experience ^ ^ ^.

Yes, the top two can go to the national competition. It is true that the Shiga Prefecture competition is highly labeled 😱 and you have to know how to compete. But it's a great experience to know that they judge in such a short time at the competition!
