We will be serving the summer-only sake from So no Go with pancakes. Although the combination of sweet bread and sake
The aroma of wheat and the sake went surprisingly well together.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
The 10th Osaka Jizake Tenma Daijukai 2024③.
The booth of So-no-Sato.
I had tasted their sake before at Kintetsu Department Store, and when I asked a friend of mine which one he liked best, he recommended this Kita Series.
I asked a friend of mine which one he liked best, and he recommended the Kita Series.
Kita Series Special Junmai Nama-Nigori Osaka Yamadanishiki
The Kita Series has a special junmai and a junmai, but when I asked about the sweeter one, it was the special junmai. It was indeed sweet, but it also had a bitter aftertaste.
I thought the Kita Series was made with 100% Osaka-produced Yamadanishiki under the supervision of Tetsuji of the comedian "Shampoo Hat," but it seems to be only the red dry Junmai Namaishiki on the label.
Yukika Shinshu So no Sato Nama Nigori Sake.
I imagined it would be sweet, but it has a ricey taste, but it is surprisingly dry with a slightly spicy aftertaste.
Good evening Mr. Nemuchi 😃
I checked the label on the back and it says the green one is Yamadanishiki from Hineno and the dry red one is Yamadanishiki from Higashi-Osaka under the supervision of Tetsuji Shampoo Hat 🤔.
Tenma Taishukai 2024 ②
Next is Kitashoji Sake Brewery in Izumisano City.
Was it near the Kansai International Airport?
What did we drink?
Yukikou Nama Nigori Shu (new sake)
I was just in the middle of opening the bottle when I arrived at the Shonosato booth, so I quickly lined up to drink it freshly opened 😁.
The rice polishing ratio is written on the bottle, so I guess it's a honjozo?
It's a bit sweet in the beginning, but spicy in the latter half. It seems to have a strong alky taste.
I thought I had never seen it before, but I think I used to drink it at the sake tour in Harukas 🤔.
Kita Series - Osaka Yamadanishiki Special Junmai Namaeshu
I've bought and drank this at a crazy salad hall last year.
It is made from Yamadanishiki produced in Hineno, Izumisano where the brewery is located.
It is as sweet and tasty as last year's, but I think it lacks the impact of the home brew. Maybe it's the temperature range?
A gift.
It has a herb-like aroma and a delicious mouthfeel.
It doesn't interfere with food, so I recommend it more as a food sake than on its own: ☝️
I don't buy a bottle unless I really like it, so it took me quite a while to finish it 😆.
Good evening, brother Maru. I have an image of Tetsuji's rice 🌾I would be happy to receive a bottle, but I am worried about storing it, and it is recommended to drink it chilled 😫.
Good morning Maru 😃
If it's your favorite sake, a bottle goes by in a blink of an eye... 😁I can't pick and choose what I get 😅I see it's from a brewery in Izumisano 😊I'd like to buy a four-pack if I can find it 🤣.
Good morning, Miss Peco!
I didn't know that Tetsuji-san is also a sake taster 😳. I need to learn more about my hometown celebrities 🤣.
I thought about heating it up, but since it's on ✖️ 😅I ended up drinking it all cold 😄.
Rafa, good morning ☀☀☀.
If it's your favorite drink, it'll be available in 3 days or so 🤣.
So no go, it's classic and not bad 👍.
We also have one made with Yamada Nishiki from Sakai 🙇.
The second drink was a sake from my hometown Izumisano, Osaka.
This was my first time drinking it, and it is sweet, fruity, and so delicious. 🙆♂️
It tasted similar to the first cup of Nanamizu, with no bitterness after drinking, and to be honest, it exceeded my expectations.
It was a gift from a junior colleague at work.
I received it last year and remember that it had quite a punchy 🤜 flavor.
It has a faint smell of cemedine, and a somewhat chemical 🧪 atmosphere in the mouth, but it has a nice, clean taste that doesn't interfere with the meal 😊.
It's only 3 days old and it's getting sweeter and tastier 🙌
I got it in a bottle, so I'm thinking of trying some heated sake with ✖️ on the back label 🧐.
Hi, Maru-san 😀
I think a bottle of sake gives you a lot of challenges and a different kind of fun 😀.
I was also disappointed the other day when I heated up two rabbits even though I knew it was a bad idea, but it's fun to challenge yourself 😀.
Good morning, Yasube, ☀️
One of the best things about sake is that you can try so many different things 😊.
Heating sake with two hares, sounds like it takes a lot of courage 🤣.
Maru-san has a sake cellar!
I love it!
I love it!
We have a vegetable compartment in our fridge 😭
And we can only stock up to 3 bottles because 1/4 of it is occupied all the time😭.
Hello Sake Run, ☀️
A reward for 100 check-ins? I bought it with my own money (← this is important) with my wife's permission 🤣.
I'm curious about your nush in the vegetable room, Mr. Lan 🧐.
Shonosato Kita Series
Junmai Namaisake
Much smoother and tastier on the palate than I had imagined from the label.
It is a strange sake that passes smoothly on the tongue, and one can only taste the umami without stimulating any part of the palate.
I feel that because the sake tastes so good, it would be better with a side dish that doesn't interfere too much with the taste, but I also feel that this sake is the kind of sake that accepts strong, dark flavors.
