I suddenly had a craving for a nigori.
I found this one at a nearby store.
The name is Dobu, but it is nigori sake.
It is not as sweet as it smells,

It is treated as "nigori (nigori sake)" in case you think it is doburoku.
Tastes like a spicy version of amazake.
Sweet! Spicy! It tastes like alternating sweet and spicy.
The mouthfeel is just like amazake with less graininess.
The alcohol is not too strong and is well balanced.
The aftertaste is slightly pungent, but then it quickly fades away.
