The second drink was at an izakaya (Japanese style bar). This is a sake from Naoetsu.
It goes well with nameko mushrooms. It is delicious. The water is very honest and slightly sweet.

I tasted this bottle in Niigata and enjoyed it.
I let it sit for a while and drank it again yesterday.
It was quite different from the impression I had in Niigata. I had an image of it being more fruity and juicy, but when I actually drank it, it was light and dry. It is a good sake for a mealtime drink.
I would like to see how the taste changes after a few days.

Purchased at a liquor store in Kamata. It is from the "Yamama" brewery.
It is said to be freshly squeezed sake. It has a robust mouthfeel with a melon-like sweetness and a dry aftertaste.
It has a strong body, but I got a little tired of drinking it.
