I'm in the mood for a bit of drinking today.
So, what shall we drink?
The other day, we went on a tour of Kyoto's sake breweries, and one of my wife's favorites was Matsui Shuzo's Kagura.
This time it was Junmai Daiginjo White.
The sweetness was impressive when we tasted it, so we are looking forward to it.
So, let's have it right away.
First, the aroma. It has a refreshing sweet aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, it goes from refreshing to sweet deliciousness~.
The sweetness seems to be of the refined Wasanbon type.
From the strong impact of the sweet and delicious taste, a little saltiness and full-bodied taste can be felt. It is not too sweet as it finishes quickly and smoothly.
The lingering aftertaste is a slight bitterness.
It is still delicious.
My wife also said it was delicious.
It is of course delicious on its own, but I have the impression that it would not be bad with a meal.
The drinkable size when you want to drink a little, and this deliciousness, it was a very satisfying saké tonight as well.
Good evening, ma-ki-chan!
I think the Kamizo that your wife liked in Kyoto, it looks sweet and delicious ☺️2It tastes even better when you can share the taste with others 🥰I also like Kyoto's sake, I think it's elegant and easy to drink 😊.
Thank you for your comment, HinaHanaMama.
My wife likes a lot of things that I find tasty, and this time it was again a beautifully sweet and delicious sake ✨.
I have been able to drink a little more of Kyoto's sake this year and I have come to like it too 😊.
Good evening, ma-ki-.
I wonder if it's because of the drinkable size or the unique shape of the bottle 🍶.
I'm interested in the sweet and tasty sake as it's my favorite 😙.
Thanks for your comment, soumacho.
The bottles are really unique ⤴️
I thought it was so cute 🥰.
I think this sake is beautifully sweet and tasty, please try it if you have a chance 😊.
Good evening, ma-ki-san ^_^
I have not yet had a taste of Kamizo and I am very curious about it✨.
I'm very curious about it ✨I didn't know they had a sake like this.
And the rice polishing ratio is 35%😊.
I would love to try it!
Hi ma-ki-🐦.
I see that Jinzo has small bottles 😳I would love to have a delicious sake that matches the bottles 😳❣️ and yet Jinzo has so many stylish bottles that you can't throw away 👍✨
Thank you for your comment, Manta.
I also found out about Jinzo from Sake no Wassa, and it was very delicious. ⤴️
There were a lot of foreigners at the brewery, and it was very lively with foreign languages flying around 😊.
If you have a chance, please do!
Thanks for your comment, Pon.
I think Kagura sold quite a few small bottle sizes ✨.
It was indeed a very enjoyable experience at Kagura, all the bottles were beautiful to look at and enjoy drinking and tasting 😊.
We moved to Demachiyanagi for lunch and finally went to Matsui Sake Brewery.
Many foreign visitors came to the brewery, which was very popular.
After a lecture on how to drink, it was time for a tasting.
Kamizo
Sparring
The sweetness and the sizzling taste are delicious!
There is a bit of bitterness, but the sweetness is quite strong.
My wife's favorite!
Junmai Clear
You can feel the sweetness and bitterness at the same time.
It is also sweet, but the bitterness lingers and the mouthfeel is smooth.
Shiboritate Genshiyu
Soft sweetness and a hint of bitterness with a traditional sake feel.
Fairly heavy
Junmai Ruri
The mouthfeel is smooth, with a good balance of bitterness and gentle sweetness.
It has a good balance of bitterness and gentle sweetness.
Junmai Daiginjo Saikaze Narai
Delicious the moment you put it in your mouth.
The soft sweetness and bitterness spreads slowly and smoothly in the mouth.
Junmai Daiginjo Kuro
The beautiful sweetness is first delicious in the mouth.
After that, the beautiful bitterness spreads and the balance is good.
It may be my favorite among all the Kamizou wines.
Junmai Daiginjo White
The balance is similar to that of black.
It has a sweeter taste than the black.
Junmai Daiginjo Assemblage
The sweetness comes with a bang and goes down nicely.
As you continue drinking, you can feel the sweetness in the mouth.
Good evening, ma-ki-. I like the Kyoto sake brewery walk: ✨️ I've always wanted to visit Matsui Sake Brewery 🍶I'm curious about the clear 🤤After that, I'll have to settle for Demachi Futaba's Mame Daifuku 😋.
Thanks for your comment Nao888.
If you have a chance to visit Matsui Sake Brewery, please do!
It's quite internationalized and I realized that sake is accepted by foreigners ✨.
And the salted Daifuku to top it off: 👍️
Good morning, ma-ki-San 😃.
I see you are in Kyoto!
Matsui Sake Brewery is close to my office and I commute there everyday, but I have never been there 😰.
I've never been to the Matsui Brewery, though I commute there everyday from my office!
I'm also curious about the salted Daifuku to finish off 😍.
Thanks for your comment, Ao.
Matsui Sake Brewery is close to your workplace 😲.
I think we had over a dozen tastings 🎵.
Please come again on your day off!
I remember standing in line to buy salted daifuku a few years ago at a famous place 😊.
This is a new sake brewed in November of this year, pure rice, no filtration, 65% of refined rice, using Kyoto-produced sake brewing good fit rice "Wish", alcohol 15. The freshness is a little lower, but there is also a richer flavor, and there is a light flavor of grape skin, peach, giving the feeling of rice soup, sweet.
