The second drink at Marukoma was my first "Koshu". It is light and crisp with a pleasant lingering aftertaste. The second sake was "Koshu", which is also from Niigata but has a different flavor from the "Hokusetsu" that we drank for the first sake 🎵.

This Sake is light and not too sweet. There are herbal flavor notes like licorice and mint. The finish is clean with a light mineral aftertaste. I am told this is a limited, seasonal Sake.

A gift from a business trip to Nagaoka🍶. The aroma is gorgeous with a strong ginjo aroma, and the first impression of a combination of umami and fruity flavors is crisp and clean. The lingering aftertaste is also rather long, and the umami flavor is spreading.
