The first sake I found at an Iwate Prefecture antenna store in Ginza. It is a rustic sake with a strong acidity. It also has a freshness that is typical of a freshly stored sake. It goes well with strong dishes.

Purchased at the nearby Takahashi Sake Shop when visiting a friend in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture. Fresh, juicy and lightly gassy (tangy). It has a gentle sweetness from the flavor of rice, light acidity and bitterness. It is easy to drink, with a firm umami flavor, yet light and crisp. It is delicious! It is good as a stand-alone sake or as an in-between-dinner drink. Rice polishing ratio→60 Alcohol content: 16%.
