This is my second iwa.
I wondered if my impression was different from the last time. I drank it thinking it would be different from the last time.
The impression was more light than I expected. Maybe it's hard to say what I think of it, lol.
The last drink I had at the end of the workday 🍶.
The packet gave me a sense of luxury and the taste was profoundly delicious 🩷It was the best drink I've ever had!
Richard Jofrowa pursues sake that deserves to be called prestige while exploring new harmonies in IWA. Sake that resonates with the senses, sake that is uniquely Japanese, yet is inclusive, full of character, and full of brilliance. Sake with such contradictory elements cannot be expressed by a single sake. It is achieved through an assemblage of several different sake products that are made by combining various elements. Beyond the existing values based on rice polishing ratio, IWA creates even deeper harmony through assemblage.
It appeared in a pairing at a fine French restaurant.
It was served with a tofu dish.
I saw this in an ANA in-flight magazine or an in-flight program, and it's made by the guy in charge of brewing Dom Perignon. I had wanted to try it, and I thought I had found it here.
It is gentle, but has a long, long finish.
The label doesn't say, but it's junmai. Assemblage is a technique used mainly in wine, right? I don't hear it often in sake.
Is it a vintage of 2021?
The label description sounds like wine.
I have been on a trip to Toyama with my parents since yesterday🚙.
The weather, which I was worried about, is fine and pleasant.
The first night in Toyama was at Sushi Namba.
My father was very pleased with the sushi, which he hadn't had in a long time.
The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful, and we had a great time talking with my parents while eating delicious food.
The first drink of the evening was, of course, Toyama's local sake.

I wanted to try this sake at least once.
However, I didn't keep notes, so here are my impressions as far as I remember.
First, the aroma.
The aroma was slightly refreshing.
When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the smooth taste.
The sweetness and bitterness were not so pronounced, and the gentle spiciness was impressive.

It was the first time for all of us to visit Toyama prefecture in our lives, but the food and drinks were delicious, my parents were fine, and it was an extraordinary fun time 🎵.

This is an expensive sake made by a famous French champagne brewer.
I got half a bottle at the Toyama antenna store in Nihonbashi, and the price is the same as that of Jyushidai Junmai Ginjo.
The taste was that of a Hokuriku sake of the royal road.
I am not sure if my taste buds can distinguish it from Manjusen's ginjo-shu.
It has been talked about for a long time that Dom Perignon's 5th Chief Brewer made? IWA is said to have been created by the fifth generation CEO of Dom Perignon.
What does it taste like at 2,300 yen per glass? ⁉️
