I think Jikin's Omachi used to be dark blue, or is it my imagination? 🤔 It has a delicious taste and the sweetness is just on the edge of not too sweet. Jikin is still delicious.

ma-ki-, there are many different types of Jikin with different sake rice and some of the more expensive lines that I can't afford 😅I don't see any of them in liquor stores very often 🤣.

It is the first bottle of Jikin.
This sake was won by my wife without my knowledge by winning the right to purchase it in a lucky draw at a liquor store. I can only be thankful for that.
I enjoyed it very much.
I have the impression that the crisp sweetness is similar to that of Otters.
It is a rare sake, but I would like to try another Jikin when I have a chance.

We started the year 2026 drinking with a simple New Year's Day meal. It took a long time to open the bottle because it contained a lot more gas than usual. It has a strong sweetness, but the gas makes it refreshing in the mouth. It has a light taste, so it is easy to drink.

It's going to be a powerful year opening 2026 ‼️ with a very special Mr. Ji Jin 🤗.
The mouthfeel is smooth and light.
It has the quality of a daiginjo, with a beautiful balance of gentle sweetness and acidity.
The lingering finish is long, with a fruity aroma reminiscent of apples, white peaches, and Japanese pears.
The clear, soft mouthfeel, which comes from the soft water in the Nabari area, is also impressive.
The fragrance gently continues from the nostrils to the tip of the tongue, with a hint of sweet bitterness lingering in the latter half, making this a beautiful bottle all the way through to the lingering finish.
This was a gift from dear friends as a New Year's gift.
To be honest, I am not the type to chase the "brand myth" of Jyushiyo,
But this bottle is really expensive if you buy it in Taiwan.
That is why it warms my heart to know that my feelings were included in the gift.
