This is an outstandingly delicious sake, and my friend purchased it around April of this year. It was kept at room temperature for a while, but after refrigeration, the wonderful flavor was enhanced and the taste was clean yet robust. It is indeed a tokkagami omachi!

One sip and the delicate aroma and rich flavor will brighten your senses. Yamada-Nishiki, sweet and mellow. To the elegant sugar candy style. Delicious in an orthodox way.
I have wanted to try this sake for a long time. There were only a few stores that carried it, and I was finally able to find it. It was advertised as having a juicy flavor, but I was not that impressed, and the sake had a natural taste.

It has a clear, mature sweetness that reminds me of ripe fruit or cotton candy 😊.
It is balanced by a slight bitterness at the end, and the sweetness is not all-encompassing, which is typical of Jikkoman. ☺️

Sake rice: Senbon Nishiki

Mouthfeel is sweet and fruity. Fruity and lingering finish is deliciously astringent. Firm. Delicious.
The last drink. The proprietor served each of the three of us a glass of premium sake. I had the Jikin. Asahitaka, Akabu Kohaku, and all of them were great. They must have been delicious. That was the end of the party.
