I have to buy a famous Shizuoka sake that's only available in Hokkaido ✨.
It has a clean and crisp taste that is typical of "Kitashizuku" 😉.
I would like to pair it with seafood from Suruga or Izu, but since it is a Hokkaido exclusive, it was a perfect match with this seafood as well 😋.

The analogy of muskmelon aroma was the first time that it felt right for me. It has a moderate sweet and sour taste, and a sharpness due to bitterness. The low alcohol content makes it refreshing and tasty. For some reason, I also smelled the aroma of green tea? Is it a combination? Because it is from Shizuoka?
Purchased at a sake brewery in a GW tour of sake breweries across Shizuoka (bullet train)
A little further up the mountain from the Kamizawagawa Brewery in Shozetsu.
The place seemed to be very busy before I got there and the products were sold out. But on the other hand, I didn't get lost, it was delicious, and I didn't regret it.

Eikun Junmai Ginjo Natsu no Shirakiku
The aroma smells like lactic acid like yogurt😊.
Taste is also gentle sweet and sour like the aroma! (It still has a yogurt-like vibe to it!)
No alkali feeling and a clean aftertaste 🥰.
Summer sake is increasing - more easy-to-drink sake, so the cups will go on and on!

We visited Eikun Shuzo. I chose a dry junmai sake that they recommended as a sake that goes well with fish even at room temperature. It was good because it had a clear taste and did not interfere with the deliciousness of the fish. The photo was taken on the riverbank at Iriyama Shinsui Park near the restaurant.
