Sake Katsudo in Kyoto ①.
I got a request from my regular friends to have a drink in Kyoto.
We started off with lunch at Tatsumi, where we always have lunch!
After rehydrating with beer after walking in the heat, we shifted to sake.
GANKI Summer Junmai Dry
A full-bodied sweet aroma of rice, a clean and soft mouthfeel, fresh umami, a hint of sweetness, and a refreshing aftertaste that is typical of summer sake.
Served with bonito tataki and Kyoto-style saba-no-kizushi (mackerel sushi).
The opening of the event is just right, I'm going to drink around Kyoto today 😁.

Kyoto in summer is hot but cool Kyoto food and summer sake is pleasant 😁.
But winter is actually a better place to visit because the food is better and there are fewer tourists ✨.

After leaving behind my New Year's holiday shooting, I went to Kyoto for the first time in 3 years to receive a good luck charm and protective talisman after a long absence.
After spending an unexpected amount of time at Okazaki Shrine, which is the place for this year's zodiac sign, I went to "Tatsumi," a mecca for standing drinks in Kyoto.
We had spent a lot of time walking around Kyoto, so Akaboshi soaked into our bodies.
Then, we went to the "Tanigawadake" super-hot junmai that was on the lineup!
It is easy to drink with a clear umami flavor and a sharp taste, and I personally think it would go well with tempura and other dishes with a strong flavor.
