A low-alcohol, pink-colored cloudy sake. The color develops naturally through fermentation using red yeast. No coloring agents of any kind are used. Carbon dioxide gas from fermentation in the bottle. It's sweet and you drink it in no time. Too bad the picture doesn't convey the pink color nearly as well. Place of origin: Saitama Prefecture Rice polishing ratio 70%. Alcohol content: 12

This sake comes from Oki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture. It is a special grade Yamadanishiki, so it is a sure selection to start with. At a restaurant we happened to enter in Sangenjaya. Rice used: Yamadanishiki Polishing: Koji rice: 50% / Kake rice: 55 Specified name sake, etc. Junmai Ginjo/namaishu Degree of alcohol content 16%.
