This local sake is made with Kinuhikari rice from Shimoda City in Shizuoka Prefecture and subterranean water from Mt. I bought it as a souvenir from my trip and opened it at home. When I brought the cup close to my mouth, I smelled a thin sweet aroma. When I put it in my mouth, I felt the sweetness of the rice. As soon as it went down my throat, I was hit by a bitter alcohol sensation. It's like when you drink hot sake. Then, my wife said, "Ehh.... (ยดเฝ€`;;) and tilted her head. I guess it's not our favorite. If you're a strong drinker, you might not be satisfied without this gusto.
