I got this limited New Year's celebration sake from Sake Brewery Kushira on New Year's Eve.
I was told it was more on the dry side, but it was delicious, not too dry and with a strong umami flavor. ☺️

Unlike the clear sake, this one left a good impression.
I thought doburoku was sweet like amazake and difficult to match with food, but this doburoku is not too sweet and the sourness comes before the sweetness, making it easy to match with food.
This is an unexpected discovery.

Perhaps because it is a soko sake, it is less spicy than the previous Ame-go-Tsuki, and does not have a filtered, unfiltered, raw sake feel.
It does not have the acidity typical of Nara sake, and is a very safe sake.
I would drink it if it were cosy, but if there were other sake in the same price range, I would probably drink that one.
Shinomine is generally like this.
