Shichiken on the way back from Yamanashi
It smells like rice with a hint of rice.
When you put it in your mouth, it feels very smooth.
When you put it down your throat, the rice flavor comes through and it's really delicious. It took away all the fatigue of mountain climbing 😊.
We went to a shish-kebab restaurant in Kawasaki and enjoyed taki-taki of ezo-deer, kangaroo and crocodile skewers 🤤.
Then back to the hotel for a heat-blasting sparkling ☺️
The sparkling was made with Nanaken's signature junmai sake "Furyin Bizan" and second fermented in the bottle. It was delicious 😊.
Hi, Mattu-san 😃!
Gibier shish-kebabs! I'm interested 🤗
I was wondering if you matched it with sparkling wine, but it was back at the hotel 😅.
Gibier seems to go well with schwag 😋.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby. We had Kudokibe 150th anniversary sake while eating gibier................................still hot. Let's drink and get over it😅
"Shichiken" is a sake brewery I always stop by for when I'm in Yamanashi.
It has a gentle aroma, sweetness, and acidity.
An elegant sake, perfect to drink with a meal!
