I purchased a bottle of Ozawa Shuzojo's "Jyukyu" at the Hasegawa Sake Shop, which I had wanted to try!
I was told that this sake can be enjoyed crisp and refreshing with ice on it during this time of year when autumn sakes are available but the lingering summer heat is still lingering. I had it well chilled!
It was fruity and slightly sour with just the right amount of sweetness. ☺️
The polar bear label is also cute!
I just read the blog of this brewery,
I read on the brewery's blog that they will be reducing production and raising the price due to the rising price of sake rice. It would be sad if such a delicious sake becomes difficult to obtain 🥲I still have some left, so I will savor it and enjoy it carefully!

Nanook is the Inuit word for polar bear. It has a clean taste with a tight acidity, a fruity aroma (lychee aroma, slightly melon aroma after a while), gorgeousness, and a delicate acidity typical of Jyuukyu.
