This time "Yoshino Cedar Barrel Sake" is a regular sake.
I felt that the previous specs of Yamahai Junmai had more aroma. I am in the mood 🤣.
Futaho" is a long aged sake and has a great sense of maturity.
Junmai Ginjo Kai" was described as having a fruity aroma like melon, but I didn't understand 😅.
The nose has a pleasant degree of cedar barrel aroma. The mouthfeel is soft, with a slightly smoky nuance. It is round and round, with a richness typical of Yamahai and a fullness typical of Omachi, and the umami of the rice comes through in the cedar aroma.
It is slightly light yellow in color and has a mild aroma.
It is smooth on the palate without being harsh, and the barrel aroma spreads beautifully after swallowing... delicious!
I had it cold and it was delicious!
