I finally found it at a liquor store and bought it.
It is a nigori-zake, but it is a light nigori-zake, almost transparent.
It is almost transparent, and the slight carbonation makes it refreshing.
Dry? It is very easy to drink.
I thought it smelled a little musty, but maybe that was just my imagination.
It is called "Haruichirin," so I wonder if it is a springtime sake.
Maybe it was because I bought and drank it in the summer.
Next year, I will definitely drink it in spring!

I bought this Ibaraki sake there.
I heard that Oarai is famous for Tsuki no I, but I couldn't find anything affordable, so I bought this one.
Sweet! I could enjoy the sweetness of rice and water!
I would have preferred a little more of a lingering aftertaste.

This is a sweet sparkling sake. I get a little melon flavor along with something I can’t really put my finger on. It’s not cloyingly sweet, but it’s on the sweeter side. Refreshing.

This is a hopped, sparkling sake that gets a lot of vegetal bitterness up front plus a dryness that gives way to something sweeter. For some reason cucumber comes to mind. The flavor changes plenty, but it’s difficult for me to pin it all down. Interesting, but not really my cup of tea.

Purchased at a 7-Eleven in Ibaraki. It's amazing that convenience stores have several bottles of that local sake.
First sip after opening the bottle at home.
First, a little sourness. It's like Bulgarian yogurt without sugar, the kind of acidity you feel on the tip of your tongue. Next comes the spiciness.
It is a traditional sake, but surprisingly I like it. The acidity and spiciness go well together. Slightly spicy with a sake strength of +3.
It is good at room temperature and even better when heated. It has a strong sake character.
The price is an unbeatable 913 yen including tax! This is excellent.
