Second stop on the Takayama sake brewery tour. We visited Funasaka Sake Brewery. As usual, the tasting machine took care of us. I chose a junmai ginjo that seemed to suit me from the description. It was described as sweet, but I got the impression that it was medium sweet with no fruity taste. I wonder if it would be a sweet sake in this brewery's lineup? It tasted crisp.

Souvenir #2 from Hida Takayama This is another sake that I enjoyed drinking at a tavern near the hotel👍. It has a nice aroma and is easy to drink. It is easy to drink and has a nice aroma. We decided to visit the brewery because it is also close to the hotel 🤣. Naturally, we tried a lot of different sake and tasted a lot of different things. I tried a lot of different sake, but for some reason I ended up with this one that I had at an izakaya 👍. There are many other sakes that I would like to buy, but for some reason I had to stop at two bottles this time 😭. I would like to visit Takayama just to visit sake breweries when I have a chance 👍

At a local sake meeting: ‼️ This is brought by a member! This is our first encounter with Gifu Sake ❗Gifu Sake 🎵. It's a still and tasty sake! The label says it's good lukewarm. It's a Hida sake, but it goes well with seafood. 🐟️

similar taste profile to gekkeikan nigori but obviously without the body and more complex fruity notes. when drunk very cold its mainly warming with notes of honeydew melon, turning more alcoholic when heating up.
